I was thinking about you and the warm weather today. Glad you both made it through! Rib eye on the bone here - ‘sous vide’.

The warm weather was kind of a blessing and not. I tend to want to eat less when it's warm, so that was a bit easier but wanted to drink more which was harder but not impossible. Going to try and be more mindful of what I'm eating in future!

Oh wow...that looks amazing! Once all of the isolation & social distancing is back in balance, we must have another meal together! #ShareRamadan has been great... ...but sharing at any time of the year with friends is pretty good too x – at Rochdale, England

part for me. Encouragement from @ASTsupportAAli, @AishaUmmKhalid and @MsACHistory1 etc was a game changer. I appreciate even more how #lockdown has changed #Ramadan for all observing. There’s something so comforting about a shared faith and I got a small taste of this today. – at Whyteleafe, South East

Reflections on #ShareRamadan: I’m in awe of my colleagues and friends who turn up to work and teach while observing #Ramadan. I missed liquid more than food. I missed the ritual of making a cup of tea, not just the caffeine! The sharing part of this was the most special – at Whyteleafe, South East

Personally for me fasting and the month of Ramadan is an opportunity to press the reset button. It makes me realise we can eat less and do not need to indulge literally every day. It is something I like to take forward after the month is over #ShareRamadan

@ShareRamadan First struggle. Went for walk and it was sunny and hot. Would definitely normally make a pint of squash and/or a cup of tea on return. Second struggle. Family are sitting down to lunch in the garden. I am putting a chair in the shade to read. #ShareRamadan

7 and 9 year old have just talked me through each of the Five Pillars of Islam with very accurate knowledge. 7 year old even demonstrated some of the prayer positions.

@ShareRamadan So, my fasting today has prompted lovely discussions with my children aged 11, 9 and 7. I am fascinated and pleasantly surprised how much they know about the Islamic faith. Well done to their primary school! #ShareRamadan

For all of you joining in fasting today with @ASTsupportAAli, my biggest tip is to keep yourself busy. When you get tired, or feel drained take a nap. May the force be with you!! #ShareRamadan

Sounds delicious! I’m so glad I did it! I did struggle with not having liquid but it was totally worth it – it’s given me a lot to reflect on! – at Whyteleafe, South East
