BC voters really elected a Conservative government?! Seriously?! You've seen what Doug Ford has done in Ontario. What Danielle Smith has done to Alberta. And then said, I want that for my province?! 🤦🏼‍♀️🙄

The wacky nut job running one of Canada's most prosperous provinces, the other one is Doug Fraud bankrupting Ontario. They both have to be removed.

🇨🇦🇺🇦 Canadian company Telesat plans to provide Ukraine with an alternative to Starlink by starting to create its own low-orbit satellite network, Lightspeed, which will start operating in early 2028. Canada does not hide that the reason for abandoning Starlink was the decision of the US government to temporarily limit Ukraine's use of the Starshield system, which disrupted the country's defense operations and left Ukrainians even more vulnerable to continuous Russian attacks. It has also forced US allies, who are increasingly at odds with the Donald Trump administration, to rethink their dependence on American technology.

I'll be voting for Olivia Chow in Toronto's mayoral election tomorrow. I'm not a leftist or progressive, but i appreciate the work she's done to make the city better. Crime is at its lowest in years, my kids love all the new parks that have been built, she pulled off a flawless World Cup... Importantly, she does not hesitate to empathize with suffering, desperate people, whether here or abroad. I suspect much of the vitriol against her is because she calls a spade a spade, and I applaud her for it. Too often this city alternates between clueless leftists and ruthless right wing opportunists. Olivia Chow is something different, more like the quiet, hardworking, competent families that make up the backbone of this city.

Torontonians are still living in John Tory's mess. He was administratively incompetent not to mention, corrupt. He doubled down on the failed policies of Rob Ford that drove the poor into unhoused despair in favour of low taxes and luxury housing for the ultra rich, plus a fucked up transit plan that was literally designed on a napkin. That's one hell of a mess. It will take at least 10 years to get Toronto back on track toward a livable future. Brad has spent this whole campaign blaming Olivia for the giant mess he helped create with John Tory. A candidate who's entire message is lie after lie after lie will be a disaster as Mayor. Olivia deserves your trust with your vote. Please do the right thing, Torontonians, and re-elect Olivia! #topoli

Read this.👇 Ford has underfunded education by $6.5 BILLION. Meanwhile Doug gives $10M taxpayer $ to his strip club owner buddy, buys himself a luxury gravy plane, his MPPs wasting taxpayer 💰💰 staying in downtown luxury hotels and so on and so on, folks😡
Since taking office, the Ontario Conservative government has underfunded public education by $6.5 billion. David Mastin, @ETFOpresident, explains the impact on students to thousands at the Toronto rally to defend publicly funded education. #OntEdUnited

The biggest lie in politics is that conservatives are strong fiscal managers. They never have been and never will be.
Remember when Ontario kicked Kathleen Wynne to the curb because Doug Ford said she had huge deficits?

Ontario's Fall Economic Statement drops one week from today. The Finance Minister says deficits will be deeper, but there are red lines the Ford government won't cross to get back in the black. ctvnews.ca/toronto/politics/…

Doug Ford is going to give all our data to an American company, isn’t he? Also, I’d like conservatives to defend this. I though it was only liberals who were going to force digital ID on citizens

Pierre Poilievre opened the door to this MAGA Republican trash. Pierre and his Conservatives have been meeting with Republicans. Pierre is a traitor, he would sell us out 1st chance, he is doing it now !
Governor @GregAbbott_TX met with Canadian Opposition Leader Pierre Poilievre today at the Governor's Mansion. The Governor and the Opposition Leader spoke about boosting trade ties, especially in regard to Canada and Texas' booming energy industries.

That’s what Conservatives do. They privatize healthcare. Because they get rich that way. They can’t stand to see all those tax dollars going into public healthcare. They want your tax dollars and they absolutely will abuse it.
The BC Conservative platform cuts $2 billion a year from the budget line that helps pay for hospitals, surgeries, clinics and long-term care They’re going to privatise our healthcare.

We don’t agree with Nick Kouvalis on much, but we do agree politicians need to have principles and that Brad Bradford has none. Brad went from a progressive who voted to defund the police to courting MAGA supporters. Why should you trust his word? Listen to Kouvalis yourself ⬇️

😎Exactly what happened in Ontario. That's how we ended up with this gangster.
Replying to @BenWoodfinden
Only 48.06% of registered voters voted last night. This marks a record-low turnout for a B.C. provincial election, falling below the previous low set in 2020. The Conservatives didn't win. The NDP lost as they stayed home.
