Fire Kyle Whittingham. Fire Jason Beck. This is the lowest most embarrassing Michigan Football has been in my lifetime. What an absolute joke of a football team #Goblue

3rd and 8. Down 9. 16 minutes left in the game. Defense just spent 10 straight minutes on the field. Jason Beck calls a run up the middle. I'd say I'm living a nightmare but that would be dramatically underselling it.

I always knew a Ryan Day coached team would respond after an embarrassing outing. That’s a tough team coached by a tough coach!

The number one priority of any elected leader should be to keep people safe — NOT stoke fear and create chaos.
In my second term, we’re going to build on our successful strategy to make our communities safer — putting more cops on the beat AND investing more in community-based violence prevention programs that give Pennsylvanians more opportunities and stop people from committing acts of violence in the first place.
Your safety is paramount. Let’s keep working.

Ron DeSantis explains why the GOP "screaming socialism" doesn't work anymore:
"Young people have a very positive view of socialism compared to capitalism. The question is, why is that? Some of it is the education in our universities. But I think a big part of that is, what they're comparing is not free enterprise versus socialism. What they're comparing is how government gets involved in business, and you have crony capitalism. The best kind of indirect supporters of socialism are some of these corporatist republicans who propagate these crony policies. The average person is seeing that and saying, 'Wait a minute, you're trying to bend the government to funnel benefits to this corporation or that industry. What about having a competitive market? ... Young people really aren't seeing that. They're seeing just a handful of companies that have an outsized influence on our economy and on our society"

It is heartbreaking to see antisemitism in my hometown. I was born in Wyncote, near Philadelphia, and it makes me angry and ashamed to see hatred tolerated there.
The numbers show this is not an abstract concern. The Anti-Defamation League recorded 465 antisemitic incidents across Pennsylvania in 2024, an 18% increase over 2023. It tracked 189 incidents in Philadelphia and 51 in Montgomery County. These reports include harassment, vandalism, and assault; they are not all classified as crimes. (adl.org, philadelphia.adl.org)
Hateful expression harms more than its immediate target. In a 2025 survey of Jewish Americans, 79% said they were concerned about antisemitism, and 52% said they had worried about their personal safety because of their identity. Nearly half reported taking steps to increase their security. A research review also found that exposure to hate is associated with worse psychological well-being, more negative stereotypes, and less trust between groups. (philadelphia.adl.org, pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov)
It takes me back to the racism I experienced in the 1960s: signs throughout the South declaring that Black people could be refused service, along with separate “white” and “colored” signs on bathrooms and drinking fountains,”no niggers”. I remember what that hatred looked and felt like. We cannot accept it in any form, directed at any people.
I wish I could be there to stand with those protesting HATE. I am asking elected officials and other leaders in Philadelphia: Where are the clear statements condemning antisemitism? When hateful language is excused or repeated, it can make hostility seem acceptable and deepen fear and division. Leaders should speak plainly and consistently: antisemitism and hate have no place in our communities.
What the hell? We have to speak up.

There's legitimate criticisms of the US-Israel relationship and then there's antisemitism. This is very much the latter.

I’m heartbroken. This is at my nephew’s university in Texas. They refused to stand for his friend who passed away because he was Jewish.
“The university did a ceremony for students who died, one was my Jewish friend. A ton of people refused to stand up for him because they played a Jewish song. It is really gross. I see it everyday. It is extremely common and throughout every party and class.”

In September, the same bakery was targeted by someone who walked in and shouted, “All the Jews will burn.”
