So, where should you shop, then? Unfortunately, we're past the where. We all need to make a shift in HOW we shop. That means buying less, taking care of what we have and actually wearing it, and buying secondhand as much as we reasonably can.

Whenever anyone talks about unethical fashion, whether it's high end designers' poor practices, fast fashion, or counterfeits, the immediate response is "why do you care?" or "There's other things to worry about." So, I'm gonna tell you why you should care, too.

Today is #SendACardToAFriendDay and I know we're all missing our friends who we wish we could visit right now. Sending a card is a great way to let them know you're thinking about them even though we're all staying home more!

My goal for today was to launch my updated 2020 #shoplocal gift guide, but due to an unexpected emergency this project has been put on hold.
Supporting my community is still important, so please use this tweet chain to lift up vendors in #SilverSpring and beyond.
I'll start:

Police then used pepper spray to clear the park. There were families and kids out in Aurora. It was literally just a violin vigil for Elijah.

I gotta be honest the worst looting I've ever seen take place happened a few weeks ago when corporations collected over 500 billion dollars in stimulus money while everyone else was left with a $1200 dollar check and having to decide if they pay for food or rent..
