In Victoria, CSA data shows machete-related incidents rose from 610 in 2021 to 2061 in 2024—an increase of roughly 238%. No comparable national figures or post-2024 machete-specific totals are available.

> Spends a childhood in refugee camps due to the civil war in Sudan > Australia gives her a humanitarian visa and a path to citizenship at age 18 > She’s given high school and university education supported by equity and diversity scholarships > Top-tier law firm hires her and promotes her as part of its corporate diversity and inclusion initiatives > She lasts less than three years without ever managing or winning a landmark case > Media prominence propels her into elite institutional positions, including at Victoria University > She’s awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for service to human rights and refugee women > She resigns after an investigation exposes severe mismanagement and instability of a taxpayer-funded project under her leadership > She deflects accountability for the operational failure by publicly accusing her employer of systemic racism > Public blowback leads to her announcing she plans to return her OAM medal > The ABC includes her in a national televised forum about immigration without mentioning her past controversies > She states she has no intention of assimilating and renounces her citizenship If you’re an immigrant, please don't be like Nyadol Nyuon. And if you had any role in pushing her into positions of power and influence, you’re part of the problem.
What I find most interesting about this clip is the dummy spit. She feels entitled to dismiss another culture while promoting her own - and as she sees the political tide is turning, she lashes out by renouncing her citizenship. I doubt she would’ve said any of this when she first migrated here - and I think that’s telling of the social expectations, or lack thereof, that we’ve instilled.

A gross misjustice has taken place. Lindsay Clancy is clearly innocent. The jury agree, the public agree, tiktok agrees, one lone misogynist on the jury says she is guilty and that's it? Things need to change asap. I stand with Lindsay Clancy

I'm now suspecting that Dean Cox might have put some money in Angus Sheldrick not having 10 touches today. How keeps one of their gun midfielders of the ground for 27 minutes for no reason. I really hope @melbournefc win now.

I know parents are worried about social media and its impact on their children’s safety. They rightly expect fast action. Today, I’m calling on senior leaders from X, Meta, Snap, YouTube and TikTok to step up. I will do whatever it takes to keep children safe online.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Current and proposed legislation to "keep children safe online" is based overwhelmingly off: -ID/Face scans -Censorship of Legal content -Restriction of encryption & legitimate tools like VPNs All three undermine civil liberties. The UN and others condemn current policies. eff.org/deeplinks/2025… indexoncensorship.org/2022/11/the-on…

Peak parody - the Premier responsible for the biggest surge in crime across all states is lecturing us on how to prevent it.
The best way to reduce crime is to stop it before it starts. Because changing the path of a young person's life means keeping our community safe.

I’m blown away. They never cease inventing new ways to cheat. As we all know, the Reserve Bank put interest rates up on families this week. At the same time, Labor quietly cut interest rates for big solar and wind companies borrowing from the government. So households pay more for their mortgages, while corporations (often overseas) get cheap money from taxpayers. Labor has changed even the rules so these projects don’t even have to make money. If they lose money, taxpayers cover the loss. That’s not investment. That’s shifting risk from big companies onto ordinary families. I can’t believe it’s real.
There has actually been 2 interest rate decisions this week. The lesser known interest rate change was Labor announcing today that it would CUT the interest rate that large solar and wind developers face to borrow from the government. The Government is doing nothing to help those families that will struggle to pay their mortgage because the RBA increased interest rates yesterday. Yet in the very same week Labor is CUTTING interest rates for companies - often overseas companies - to spend billions on massive net zero energy projects. Labor's priorities put companies ahead of families, the rich over the poor and the big over the small.

BREAKING: This particular hotel, the Hampton Inn Lakeville outside Minneapolis was bought for $15 million last summer, according to news reports. The LLC that was used to purchase the hotel is owned by four Indian partners—Parmjit Singh, Amanpreet Hundal, Karandeep Nagra, and Mohinderjeet Kaur—according to public records filed last June with the Minnesota Secretary of State.

NO ROOM AT THE INN! @HiltonHotels has launched a coordinated campaign in Minneapolis to REFUSE service to DHS law enforcement. When officers attempted to book rooms using official government emails and rates, Hilton Hotels maliciously CANCELLED their reservations. This is UNACCEPTABLE. Why is Hilton Hotels siding with murderers and rapists to deliberately undermine and impede DHS law enforcement from their mission to enforce our nation’s immigration laws?

For those of you who don’t travel a lot, let me fill you in on something you probably don’t know. These particular hotels are not owned by Hilton. They are owned and operated by an independent company called everpeakhotels.com who basically pay Hilton as well as Marriott and Choice Hotels and possibly others, to use their name on their buildings. @HiltonHotels can and should use whatever leverage they have to get this turned around ASAP, but these decisions are not being made at the Hilton corporate level. They are being made by a bunch of leftist activists who happen to own some local hotels. Anger is good. Accurately directed anger is better.

Imagine. You're an Australian kid. Your parents worked long hours to send you to a private school because they wanted the best for your education. You devoted yourself to study and earned your way into university to study medicine. For the next 4-5 years, you put yourself into $50,000+ debt. Then - you go to apply for your job only to discover Albanese brought in tens of thousands of medical workers who are less qualified because he wanted to keep foreign leaders happy. Suddenly, as an Aussie, you're at the bottom of the employment list. Your education is worthless and you're working minimum wage. You wasted your entire young life studying and putting yourself into debt for a Labor Prime Minister to sell you out for politics. Then you watch non-citizens given huge handouts including homes while you get nothing. Then commentators say its all your fault because you haven't started a family yet so they have to bring in even more people. That is how Labor treats young people in this country.

Australians are angry, and rightly so. Instead of calling out radical Islam, Anthony Albanese has chosen to divide the country and go after Australians he sees as political enemies. This is not leadership. Albanese refuses to call out the radical Islamists who have brought terror to our shores, choosing instead to provide cover through silence and weakness. Mass immigration sits squarely at Albanese’s feet. It has fractured communities, stretched services, and left Australians worse off. This is his mess, and Australians will not forget what this Prime Minister has done to our country.
