After 2.5 years at @AlgoFoundation as Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer, I've decided to resign. It has been an honor to work with the many talented people at the Foundation and the amazing builders in our ecosystem.

🧩 If you are staking $ALGO through the Algorand app at app.folks.finance, this xChain shutdown does not seem to affect your position.
The same goes for $ALGO liquid staking through xALGO. At this stage, it doesn't seem to be affected either.
▶️ But what about all the points we've accumulated?
Season 2 was supposed to start at the beginning of 2026. Since then, no news.
Many people have directly asked @folksfinance and @benedetto, but so far, no answer.
The questions are simple:
-Is Season 2 still coming?
-What will these points be used for?
-When?
As we prepare for the launch of Folks Markets, the next product evolution of Folks Finance, we are sharing the transition plan for xChain.
As part of this process, starting October 1, xChain will be gradually deprecated following the timeline below to ensure a smooth transition. After March 31, 2027, the xChain app website will not be available, so we encourage all users to repay their loans and withdraw their assets before then.

Thank you for being a huge part of algorand NFT history as well as taking rand over when others gave up on it.
Rand Gallery has officially been de-commissioned.
If you had NFTs listed on Rand or Shufl marketplaces these should have been returned to the wallet which listed them.
A fairly large number of wallets had opted out of the NFTs they listed meaning they couldnt be returned. These NFTs can be manually claimed by going to The Goanna lending platform. Link in first comment.

🤖 Agentic commerce keeps growing fast on Algorand: 1,000+ developers have joined the Global x402 Challenge, 2,000+ endpoints are already live, and ~$250K in x402 volume was processed on @Algorand mainnet over the past 30 days!
🧩 Real-world agentic use cases are already emerging, from micro-tools and market data APIs to pay-per-use LLM inference, with partners like @Sabre_Corp helping bring travel APIs into the agentic economy.
💸 @HesabPay_ has now reached 1M+ users in Afghanistan via Algorand, with successful pilots completed in Syria and activity expected to scale there over the coming months.
🔐 AC2 is designed to tackle one of the biggest challenges in agentic commerce: trust. The protocol is deliberately blockchain-agnostic, keeps credentials away from agents, and is already being explored with major payments and AI companies.
🛠️ Rocca is already powering Pera 7 and the AC2 Wallet, with two more apps coming soon and additional integrations being explored.

My bad… I should’ve posted this earlier.
My last day at the Algorand Foundation was Friday. Wild timing. Didn’t expect it to line up perfectly with the biggest protocol upgrade of all time. Things got hectic. Then I burned down my entire weekend trying to ship VibeKit 1.0 before today. Didn’t quite make it, but I’m close!
I wouldn’t have left unless it was for something that really fired me up. Excited to share more about it soon.
But I’m staying in the ecosystem. Honestly, not much is going to change for us fam. If anything, this frees me up to be more effective -- I can focus down and go all in on the things I really care about. And now I can give financial advice.
Grateful for everyone at @AlgoFoundation. Some of the sharpest, kindest, most committed and passionate people I’ve ever worked with. The protocol is in good hands.
And no, I’m not selling. Still very bullish. Probably more bullish than I’ve ever been. So I’ll keep bullposting and sharing my thesis on why Algorand wins. More importantly, I’ll keep building.
TLDR: I’m back in the community where I belong.
