My recent LabCorp NMR advanced lipids test in the section where you get told if your LDL particles are Pattern A or Pattern B, reported: "Test not performed. LDL levels not sufficient for LDL size determination". Cool! I love it. I think this phrase needs to be the new guidelines. Forget about the guidelines that say LDL-C is best <55mg/dL. If the lab can find your LDL particles then you are *not* optimized. LabCorp cannot put a number on my particles. All they told me was: 👉 LDL-P: <300 nmol/L 👉 Small LDL-P: <90 nmol/L As such I've got no idea how many LDL particles I have. But apparently there's so few of them that Labcorp is unable to tell me their size. This surely needs to be the new guidelines. I hope that Keto loons don't read this post. They would lose their minds at a lab report that doesn't tell me whether my LDL particles are "fluffy" or not 😀 If the loons do read this post, I need to get ahead of their reaction. Yes, loons, I no longer have any ability to make testosterone. It's so bad that my willy just fell off. But I'm OK with that because I already have Alzheimer's. Now, bugger off! I must have at least one LDL particle though, since: 👉 LDL-C (Direct): 35 👉 ApoB: 34 Hugs and kisses to: ✔️ Plant-centric diet and exercise ✔️ Lerochol (PCSK9i) ✔️ Bempedoic Acid ✔️ Ezetimibe ✔️ Tirzepatide Btw, Keto loons, no statins here. So please spare me that nonsense!

Stopping Vitamin D supplementation usually causes Vitamin D levels to drop too low again. These dinosaurs don't get it. They really don't. It's like their world has been turned upside down by the GLP-1s.
Stopping tirzepatide usually brings much of the weight back. In the trial that tested this, people who had lost about 21% of their body weight and then switched to placebo gained 14% back over the next year, while those who stayed on the drug kept losing. The drug works well while a person takes it, but the appetite it controls returns when it stops. I think the time to build the habits that hold the weight, like eating fewer carbs and lifting to protect muscle, is while the drug is still working. Anyone starting a GLP-1 should have a long-term plan with their doctor from the beginning.

Ken doesn't need to go to the toilet anyway since talking ***t is how he gets it out. I'm still waiting for him to post his artery scans online.
Fiber is not an essential nutrient. Your gut does not need it. Appetite control comes from protein and fat, not psyllium. In a 2012 study of 63 people with chronic constipation, the ones who stopped eating fiber entirely were all cured within six months. The ones who kept eating high fiber? No improvement. Read the actual study. Link below...

I think I've figured out why no social media influencer talks about femoral artery scans when discussing ASCVD. It's because most influencers are American. They don't like wearing speedo underpants to get the scan. They'd rather stay dressed and subject themselves with radiation so as to talk about CT angiograms that hardly anyone is going to take due to cost. It is time for this mentality to change. Let's have a chat about scanning the femoral arteries and the abdominal aorta. Ultrasound. No radiation. Let's have a chat about how atherosclerosis in these other artery beds could cause a kidney stroke or an embolism in your foot or leg. Let's have a chat about the fact that ASCVD does not present equally in all artery beds. Maybe I should record myself getting a femoral scan and take sponsorship money from an underpants company? All for a good cause. You see, you need to get scanned darlings. Most of you haven't even bothered to scan your neck let alone your pubic area. Do you not understand that if a plaque lesion in your neck ruptures it won't be a heart attack? It'll be a stroke. Do you not understand that 50% of events are strokes? Do you not realize that most are nonfatal i.e. you don't die immediately. You get brain damaged or paralyzed and die later. Stop proscrastinating darlings. I've now scanned my heart, neck, abdomen, and groin. My heart scan (CTA with Cleerly) revealed it was the least problematic area. My neck was a mess but I'm working on it. Stay tuned for my femoral artery results. The Keto cult should stop radiating themselves and do a Keto-Groin study. At least it might lead to some interesting results since Keto-CTA was ridiculous. I wonder if "plaque begets plaque" applies to all artery beds? Maybe if you're a Keto cult member and you've got plaque in your heart arteries but none in your groin arteries it means you're screwed around the heart but you're forever clear in the groin? Is that what the retracted study was trying to tell me about ASCVD? Put the Keto loons in speedos for their next scan. It'll do 'em good. Go to CardioRisk.com to register right now. Don't argue with me about this. Get it done!

Keto-CTA fiasco in a nutshell.
Them: ApoB didn't correlate with plaque progression. Us: Wait...that wasn't your preregistered primary outcome. Them: Plaque begets plaque Us: Wait...your study shows LMHRs have historically high plaque progression. Them: The data is wrong because our vendor sucks. Us: Why did you go on a historic marketing campaign and produce a documentary? Them: We retracted our paper. All good. Us : That's not how this works.

I recently did Labcorp's NMR Lipoprofile (advanced lipids). In the section where they report LDL size (pattern A or pattern B) LabCorp wrote the words: "Test not performed. LDL levels not sufficient for LDL size determination". Barrstards! I paid for the advanced lipids test and not only did LabCorp refuse to tell me the size of my LDL particles, they also refused to tell me how many LDL particles I have. For LDL-P they merely wrote "<300" and for small LDL-P they wrote "<90". Barrrstards! I've been watching Keto cult social media videos telling me I need to have "fluffy" LDL particles and I've got no bloody idea if mine are fluffy or not. Nor even how many I have. In other results: ApoB 34, LDL-C (Direct) 36, HDL-C 83, Tryglycerides 45. Keto darlings; will I get invited to Keto Con to present as to how you need to improve your HDL/Trig ratio since you believe that bollocks is relevant? If so, great, my presentation will involve telling you to eat lots more carbohydrates and take way more drugs than you currently take. No, not statins you plonkers. I mean the good drugs not the crap ones. Don't you like good drugs? I know, Keto darlings, you think my undectable LDL particles means my willy has fallen off because I have no testesterone and my brain just turned to mush. Well, darlings, its not happened yet. My brain only turns to mush watching your cult leaders say we need to give up chick pea vindaloos and eat butter to be healthy. Now bugger off and go get the HDLfx test from Cleveland Heart Lab to assess your HDL functionality since none of your cult leaders tell you anything of relevance. And don't forget to get a CardioRisk CIMT instead of being clueless about your risk. Here's the link: CardioRisk.com

It was inevitable. Keto cult fanatics just saw their first guru graduate from statin attacks to bempedoic acid attacks. Here's my polite response to the bullshit espoused in the below video by Anthony Jay: The claim that bempedoic acid “does not reduce MACE” is incorrect. CLEAR Outcomes’ prespecified primary endpoint occurred in 11.7% of the treatment group versus 13.3% with placebo: a statistically significant reduction, with a hazard ratio of 0.87 and P=0.004. That’s a 1.6-percentage-point absolute reduction over approximately 3.4 years. Both the absolute and relative figures deserve to be reported—not used to dismiss one another. Heart attacks and coronary revascularisations were also significantly reduced. The slightly higher death counts do NOT establish increased mortality. Neither cardiovascular mortality nor all-cause mortality differed significantly between groups. “No demonstrated mortality benefit” is accurate; implying that the drug was shown to increase deaths is not. Likewise, the prespecified three-component endpoint—cardiovascular death, nonfatal heart attack, or nonfatal stroke—also improved significantly, so the benefit wasn’t simply an artefact of including revascularisation. Another important distinction: CLEAR Outcomes tested bempedoic acid versus placebo, NOT a dedicated bempedoic acid + ezetimibe combination strategy, which is the approach I prefer. Calling it strictly a monotherapy trial would also be inaccurate, because some participants used background ezetimibe or low-dose statins. But its results should not be presented as the ceiling of what combination treatment could achieve. The modest benefit is consistent with the modest sustained LDL reduction. In a separate randomised trial, bempedoic acid + ezetimibe lowered LDL by about 36%, versus about 17% with bempedoic acid alone. Broader randomised-trial evidence links greater sustained LDL reduction to greater cardiovascular-event reduction, and IMPROVE-IT demonstrated that adding ezetimibe to a statin improved outcomes. That supports expecting additional benefit from the combination—not claiming that CLEAR Outcomes directly proved its exact benefit. It’s reasonable to discuss the magnitude and limitations of a positive trial. It’s misleading to describe it as showing no cardiovascular benefit. youtu.be/uLHPmYEQPPQ?is=0LB8…

Keto cult fanatics be in a confused state with the posting of Anthony Jay's video because fellow cult leader Nick Norwitz has posted (link below) how he loves bempedoic acid. Just not for cholesterol lowering. For brain health. Supposedly. But later it seems Nick doesn't take it after all because it's too expensive for young Nick's taste buds. Maybe Nick can't afford the coupon price or he listens to Anthony about the price nobody will pay. In short, the Keto cult gets to listen to two different bullshit artists talk about bempedoic acid. Oh, what a confusing cult it must be, to belong to! youtu.be/y7aQvXj0KfM?is=AgCc…

Oh, and his claim in the title and inside his video that bempedoic acid costs $6,000/year (without insurance) is double extra bullshit clickbait. Designed to appeal to Keto fanatics of low IQ who don't understand how to look up GoodRx coupons. His own video shows the GoodRx price of $230 which he assumes nobody will think to check, while he positions his consulting services against the bullshit $6,000 price that nobody would actually pay in the real world.

I'm not anti-statin but am thinking of becoming so, just so I can say "bempedoic acid + ezetimibe" to all the kindergarteners online who bash statins. Just to confuse the hell out of them. After all, none of these children have yet formed a story for how to bash these other meds yet.

How does this fellow Brit have a following? His messaging is profoundly moronic. He preaches an anti-pharma anti-establishment mentality that is aimed at three year old thinking.
GLP-1s must be the first “miracle longevity drugs” in history that manage to make people look older

You know your cholesterol. But do you know your mean IMT? In my new video, I explain what this artery-wall measurement means—and why I personally track it every year with a CIMT scan. The artery health number I don’t want you to ignore 👇

Cardiologist: Have you done a CardioRisk CIMT scan yet? No radiation. No Rx needed. $250. Check the amount of atherosclerosis in your neck arteries. Check to see if what you're doing is keeping you safe. Cary Kelly: Hell, no! I don't need no stinkin' scan to check anything. I'm an anti-pharma, LDL-blowing, Keto cult member. What keeps our arteries clear as cult members is holding hands together and singing kumbaya around the camp fire. Cardiologist: Oh right. The thing is ...if you have a stroke your face could be paralyzed, your brain damaged, and someone else might need to wipe your arse for the rest of your life. Given this risk don't you think a 10-minute ultrasound of the neck might be a good idea? Cary Kelly: You're in the conspiracy. I don't need no stinkin' scan. I'm safe because I believe I am. And shove your statins! Cardiologist: Gladly darling. What's your position on bempedoic acid? Cary Kelly: No idea what you just said! Ken Berry hadn't taught us cult members how to bash on that thing you just mentioned. Cardiologist: Ahh yes, Ken. Another guru who refuses to get and post any artery scan of any kind. Keep drinking the kool aid. The scans are for grown ups and you lot clearly haven't graduated Kindergarten yet.
Cardiologist: Wow! Your LDL is down 100 points since your last visit. Have you been taking your statins like I told you? Patient: No, Doc. I lowered it with Oreos. Cardiologist: Oreos?! Patient: Yes, I ate Oreos every day because I read about a peer-reviewed experiment by a guy at Harvard who lowered his LDL more efficiently than statins by eating Oreos. Cardiologist: But that’s junk food! Patient: The last time we talked you said I’ve got to get my LDL down, right? Cardiologist: But lowering LDL by eating Oreos is not meaningful. Patient: Kind of like raising my LDL by eating red meat is not meaningful? Paper ⬇️

Imagine if statins didn't exist and the only drug to lower cholesterol synthesis was bempedoic acid. What would anti-pharma Keto cult members do? Would they get confused and say stupid stuff like "well, even though our cult leaders haven't taught us how to call that drug poison I just know that low cholesterol is bad!" ??

It's blokes like this who promote dogma. I predict he's never gotten either a quality CIMT or a CTA scan to know if what he's doing is safe and I predict he doesn't encourage anyone else to get such a scan either.
I hear this a lot: A person will lose 50 pounds, reverse lifelong inflammation, fix their blood sugar, stabilize their mood, sleep better, move better, feel better than they have in decades… …and they’ll throw it all away the moment a doctor gasps, “Your cholesterol went up.” It’s wild how terrified people are of a molecule we literally wouldn’t exist without. What gets me is that there's no curiosity, there's no explanation and there's no attempt to understand the physiology. It's “stop what’s working for you because I don’t like this one number.” Doctors who do this aren’t practicing medicine. They’re enforcing dogma. And when you bully a patient out of the only thing that’s ever made them feel healthy, then why did you ever become a doctor?

How the world's greatest breakfast is made. @NutritionMadeS3 and @theproof have both been talking about oats but my impression is that one of them eats PROCESSED oats. Yikes! The leucine hack is designed to optimize your MMX number within MVX for longevity and also your Hume scale results so you don't look like a stick insect when old. Nobody but Bill Cromwell will understand what I'm talking about re: MVX. That's OK. I'll discuss it in a future video. For now, just know that the VETO diet rules the world. We need more people to join the Veto cult. Enjoy... youtu.be/RJKBWZyo2gU?si=bDTJ… via @YouTube
