More than 1800 personnel, from five NATO nations participated in exercise Cobra Warrior
The Royal Air Force-led exercise, held from 14 September to 2 October 2026, brought together forces from Germany 🇩🇪, Italy, 🇮🇹 the Netherlands 🇳🇱, the United Kingdom and🇬🇧 the United States 🇺🇸
Over three weeks of intensive multinational training, participants conducted almost 1000 sorties, accumulated more than 2,500 flying hours and executed 14 complex missions in a high contested environment.

Addressing the Command, Gen. Perry set out a clear focus for JFC Norfolk and NATO’s mission across the North Atlantic:
“The North Atlantic is once again a theatre of strategic competition. The assumptions many of us enjoyed for decades can no longer be taken for granted. That is why:

🔹Readiness matters.
🔹Warfighting matters.
And that is why this Command exists.
