All the so called black political parties should take a lesson from the voting results in Umgeni. There the mostly black residence voted for Papas despite him being Gay, White and from the DA, simply because he delivers services to the community.

[ICYMI] In its R31-million mobile veterinary clinic contract, the Department of Agriculture was only meant to pay Centurion Bus Manufacturers against a bank guarantee, or full insurance, or delivered trucks. EMFULENI 🤯🤯🤯 With 80% counted the municipality is coming along nicely for the DA. Incredible campaign by Kingsol Chabalala. But goodness. Emfuleni is a mess. So so broken. Basically exists on paper only. Going to require massive effort to turnaround.

The DA's performance in Emfuleni is staggering. With 98% of VDs reported, there are 94 VDs with a black voting population of 95%+. The DA has averaged 36% in these VDs. That is growth of 21pts since 2021. Just amazing. Emfuleni is the 11th biggest municipality in SA by registered voters (including metros).
