(End) If Ben Shapiro and his kiss-ups want to act like hypocritical Cancel Culture lunatics, then count me out. People like them are no different from Cancel Culture Leftists, so what difference does it make if the Democrats do win? Thank you for your attention to this matter.
(5) Sorry, but I signed up to be a part of a MAGA where we are allowed to ask questions and talk to whoever we want. That’s freedom of speech…

(3) Gas prices are up, groceries are not as cheap to afford, and these things happened under our current president’s watch. And President Trump is surrounded by sycophants who cheer for bombing and sniping kids in an area that’s Israel’s problem, not the USA’s…

Woke up this morning, scrolled the election results, and pretty much the whole country has turned blue. Hope all the immaturity and infighting on the Right was worth it guys. Well done.👍🏼 Hope Trump being flippant and dismissive regarding real concerns about AI, inflation, etc that his people are worried about was worth it.🙄 Hope Abbott’s cowardice was worth the loss he’s feeling this morning. Better scramble to get a bunch of things passed and save Texas as much as you can before you go, buddy. Maybe you’ll save your rep in the process 🫡 I’m going back to bed y’all are exhausting✌🏼

Dear @benshapiro , looks like the needless cancel culture war you inflicted against people you disagree with on the Right blew up in your face. I hope you’re happy with the results of your stupid AmFest Cancel Culture tirade.

Since Prequel posting has become cool again… Return of the Jedi is worse than The Phantom Menace by virtue of a bunch of Ewoks beating technologically advanced storm troopers. It was ridiculous, and Episode 6 should have taken place on Kashyyyk instead.
Awesome Ewok art (Logray) by Rick Bryant from the Return of the Jedi comic adaptation. This was a poster inside the issue.

There’s just no defending the idea that a bunch of teddy bears with sticks and stones could have beaten the Empire. Wookiees are a more logical primitive species choice to defeat the storm troopers. Maybe we should start using AI to retcon Endor with Kashyyyk.

The main reason our parents generation hated fascism is that a nation where people have freedom of speech, free market and the ability to hold politicians accountable, is a world that is a demonstrable benefit for the average citizen when comparing it with places like China or North Korea. However recently the west has become more like China , with people arrested over hate speech, businesses getting micro-regulated out of oblivion, taxes going up as people have to pay for others outside of their families. And so many are asking the question, well if we are becoming China already then why just not change the leadership and put populists in power rather than the current technocrats?

Anakin Skywalker and the Rise of the Right-Wing Rebel The growing fascination with Anakin Skywalker and the Galactic Empire among young right-wing men represents something deeper than a reinterpretation of Star Wars. It reflects a generation of men who feel betrayed by the institutions they were raised to trust. Anakin has become a symbol of the ambitious, capable young man who wants to build a meaningful life, achieve greatness, marry, raise children, and serve his civilization, but feels increasingly constrained by an establishment that neither understands nor rewards him. The Jedi Council and Galactic Senate are seen as representations of today’s political and cultural establishment. To these young men, the Republic’s bureaucracy resembles an ineffective government dominated by career politicians, while the Jedi represent older generations who demand obedience but fail to recognize genuine talent. Anakin’s struggles are compared with modern grievances involving housing affordability, economic insecurity, immigration, institutional favoritism, declining opportunities, and the difficulty of establishing traditional families. The central frustration is that young men feel expected to sustain a society that no longer seems interested in securing their future. Palpatine and the Empire represent the opposing ideal: strength, decisiveness, political competence, military superiority, and the willingness to fundamentally transform a failing system. Palpatine recognizes that the Republic’s institutions have become too corrupt and ineffective to reform themselves. His rise symbolizes the belief that restoring order sometimes requires exceptional leaders willing to challenge entrenched authority. The Empire’s enormous fleets, disciplined armies, and centralized government become symbols of the strength and unity these commentators believe modern Western societies have lost. Anakin himself represents the masculine ideal at the center of this narrative. He possesses extraordinary natural ability, courage, ambition, and martial excellence. Yet he also desires something deeply traditional: a wife, children, a home, and the ability to protect those he loves. The Jedi’s restrictions on attachment and their reluctance to recognize his achievements are interpreted as institutional hostility toward those aspirations. His eventual rejection of the Jedi becomes a metaphor for young men rejecting institutions they believe have failed them. His transformation into Darth Vader symbolizes what happens when extraordinary potential encounters prolonged alienation. The phenomenon also reflects a broader shift in how some younger right-wing communities imagine political authority. Rather than automatically identifying democracy, institutional procedure, and decentralization with good government, we increasingly romanticize hierarchy, strong sovereign leadership, military power, and civilizational unity. Ultimately, Anakin has become an archetype of the young man who believes he was born for something greater but inherited a civilization that stands in his way. The Jedi represent the institutions he no longer trusts. The Republic represents a political order he considers exhausted. The Empire represents the promise of decisive power and restored authority. The underlying message of the phenomenon is that these young men do not simply want to survive within the existing system. They want a civilization in which ambition is rewarded, families can flourish, competence commands respect, and extraordinary men have the opportunity to accomplish extraordinary things.

The Jedi actually deserved to go extinct. Their entire ideology is inherently antithetical to life itself. You’re not allowed to have attachments, show emotion, love anyone, be passionate about anything, or embody really any of the qualities that make a sentient living being a sentient living being. Anything that’s life giving is attacked for being associated with the Sith, who would otherwise be completely correct about everything if it weren’t for their over the top cruelty and cartoonish villainy. The entire core tenets of the Jedi Order almost perfectly match the late-stage liberal fantasy of a world where existential divisions are all papered over and everyone and everything is forcibly dissolved into a universalist soup managed by a supposedly apolitical priestly caste who wield absolute power while lying through their teeth about how they’re just defenders of democracy. And like all Liberal orders, the Jedi are so dogmatically committed to the false promise of universalism, neutrality, proceduralism, and “balance” (aka not taking your own side) that they can’t see any existential threats until it is far too late.

I love prequel memes. And I’ve been enjoying the sort of Zoomer take on the Star Wars prequels floating around X for the last couple of days. A lot of these takes hinge on the idea of Anakin as representative of the white male experience in a progressive culture, where the good guys are actually the bad guys, and the bad guys are the good guys. And there is a good deal of truth to that. But I think there’s something important being overlooked, something that is central to how I read the story. I see the first six Star Wars movies as essentially being about fatherhood. Anakin has no father. He comes from a single-parent home. Qui-Gon Jinn takes an interest in Anakin as a person. He is a benevolent fatherly presence who advocates for Anakin, sees his potential, and wants to protect and guide him. And part of that protection is even from the Jedi Order itself, since Qui-Gon disagrees with some of its ways. The great tragedy of that first movie is that Qui-Gon, Anakin’s only true father figure, dies. Anakin is left to be raised by a cold Jedi Order and Obi-Wan Kenobi, who functions more like an older brother. Obi-Wan loves Anakin, but he is no father. Without fatherly guidance and protection, Anakin struggles to enter the world of men and is used by two sides: a cold, detached Jedi Order and a manipulative false father in Palpatine. And just as Anakin becomes the one thing he never had, a father, he loses much of his humanity, his wife, and his family. That is the central tragedy of the prequels. Now consider the original trilogy. You have a son who is raised by a father figure in Uncle Owen and eventually finds himself under the care of a much older and more fatherly Obi-Wan. So, Luke was actually fathered, unlike Anakin. The series slowly turns into Luke’s quest to see his father redeemed. In the end, Luke is unwilling to kill his father. And Anakin finds his redemption by killing his own false father to rescue his son. That is the triumph of the original trilogy: a son pulling his father back from the darkness by becoming the man his father once desired to be. And that father, even at the very end of his life, being awakened and doing what it takes to give his son a future. That’s how I read Star Wars. The tragedy of fatherlessness, and the triumph of sonship and fatherhood.
