Few notes here: — David Walker IS THE MAN! Make him the starter. He’s even better than I thought, and I’ve long thought he was good. He just might be great. — I appreciated Todd Bowles’ defensive wrinkle bringing in Christian Rozeboom as the third inside linebacker to counter 12 personnel. — Didn’t notice Alex Anzalone or Vita Vea making any positive plays. Josiah Trotter is the team’s best inside linebacker BY FAR, while A’Shawn Robinson is the best defensive tackle. — Many have discussed waiting to pay Baker Mayfield until after the season. I’d say the same about paying Vea. If he didn’t want to play, they should’ve moved on and rolled with the other guys up front. Also, I’m surprised Calijah Kancey isn’t on here. He did NOTHING.
