Bucs opted to bring Riley Dixon back as punter on a $3 million salary, after he ranked 31st out of 33 NFL punters in 2025, 29th in net. Now this year, he ranks 31st out of 33 in average punting and 33rd out of 33 in net punting.

I’m a big fan of both of these guys so I’ll try to start some shit. Individually, what Fitzpatrick did as a 17-year journeyman NFL QB was way more difficult to accomplish than what Talib did as a borderline HOF NFL CB. QB vs CB. CB might be the most difficult position to play in football athletically but it’s still far from the QB position’s overall difficulty level. 11 OCs vs 9 DCs. Leading teams vs beating up cab drivers. As a 7th round Ivy Leaguer vs a 1st round Big XII player.

Bucs' David Walker has four sacks in his first six NFL games. That is the most for a Bucs player in 30 years and matches the third-most for a Bucs player ever. Now the less impressive part: The only two with more: Santana Dotson (7, 1992) and Eric Curry (5, 1993).
