#ProgressMS36 cargo spacecraft will dock on November 26 to the #Rassvet module. Presumably From December 2026 to February 2027, it will be re-docked to the #Zvezda module.

The Booster and Ship thrust simulators.
We could see one or both of them moving to Massey's tonight for storage.

Behold: The US Defense Intelligence Agency has released a report on challenges to security in space, including an NEI image of China’s spaceplane from Maxar, taken in 2024.
In 2003, I was surprised to see Elon articles in newspapers, as he was too shy to be interviewed. When I called him, he said no one would sell him rocket parts as they didn’t know who he was. Well, the rest is history. 🚀🤩
Maybe again this year? This is going to be a very close call.
Great photos, @asherbphotos !

We’ve talked about the rockets, the landers, the space suits for the USA’s return to the moon. But is @NASA developing a flag designed for the moon?
Made of fabric and pigments that will survive unfiltered sunlight for decades or more?
Maybe Betacloth with inorganic dyes?
Or, maybe just make sure we keep sending new ones.
China developed a flag of woven basalt fibers which was deployed on Chang’e 6.

Otter Pup 2 is now operating as close as 25 meters away from @GilmourSpace's ElaraSat, fully autonomously. This vid contains imagery captured when we were separated by just 33.6 meters.
We’ve demonstrated our ability to safely and precisely operate at very close range, executing intricate maneuvers, gathering detailed imagery, and testing the capabilities we’ll need for docking.
With this progress, Otter Pup 2 has officially completed Characterize, the penultimate phase of its mission. That leaves just one phase left: attempting docking, and a chance to make history.
🤞
Replying to @XFreeze
Raptor 4 will be 300 tons of thrust at sea level and hopefully about the same mass

With support from @SpaceX, the AFRL agile cargo pods were recovered after splashdown in the Pacific Ocean. Each pod contained representative mission equipment to study the effects of temperature, shock, and vibration of the cargo environments during launch and reentry. #Readiness
AFRL conducted a test of preliminary Rocket Cargo capabilities via @SpaceX Bandwagon-5 on a Falcon 9 launching from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station @SLDelta45. This test involved a SpaceX Starfall capsule loaded with #AFRL agile cargo pods for point-to-point delivery missions.

SpaceX's Raptor 3 is taking rocket engineering to an entirely different level
Compared with the legendary RS-25, Raptor 3 delivers 34% more thrust while weighing 57% less, giving it over 3× the thrust-to-weight ratio
To put it simply, SpaceX built an engine that's smaller, weighs less than half as much, and yet packs even more thrust than NASA's much larger RS-25. It's really hard to comprehend how much engineering went into achieving this
And what's even more impressive is that SpaceX achieved all of this with a radically simplified engine designed for mass production and rapid reuse
This is the engineering revolution powering Starship

I like how you can look at some launch vehicles and notice how similar they are, yet they have completely different designs.
US’s Vulcan, Japan’s H3, and France’s Ariane 6 all use solid rocket boosters and have hydrolox upper stages. They are also all slightly over 60m tall and over 5m in diameter. It’s not the most shocking thing, but I just thought it was fun to share.
Verizon's CEO: "SpaceX will need at least 4-6 years" to establish Starlink Mobile as a major mobile carrier.
Pegasus was originally designed to transport Space Shuttle external tanks and was later modified to carry SLS core stages and other related hardware. This time, however, it has been tasked with transporting a New Glenn GS-2 stage to the Stennis Space Center.
You’ll Thank Me Later serves as SpaceX’s transportation workhorse for Starship hardware between Cape Canaveral and Starbase, Texas. It is designed to fit either a Super Heavy booster or a Ship.
Space freighters.
Scenes from this morning at the Kennedy Space Center turn basin, where NASA’s Pegasus and SpaceX’s Marmac 31 "You’ll Thank Me Later" barges are docked.
This is the first occasion they've been seen together in such close proximity, offering a rare opportunity to witness two vessels purpose-built to transport large spaceflight hardware.
