In my opinion, the negotiations between American/European leaders/negotiators with Putin are a sign of weakness and a defeat, because they bring him out of isolation and legitimize his regime.
These negotiations will lead to nothing, but as a result, Putin is now once again a figure with whom one can shake hands, even though his hands are covered in blood and that blood flows in streams every day.

Norwegian MP Peter Frolich says he illegally brought drones with thermal cameras into Ukraine in 2023. He feels fine about it.
Free Ukraine, the volunteer group he founded with others, first tried to send the drones by ferry. Customs stopped them under a law dating to the 1950s. Frolich took them across anyway. Then he pressed the government to change the rules. Drones can now be sent to Ukraine legally.
He is writing a book, If War Comes, about his trips to Ukraine.
