I totally get that Bears fans are upset that there won't be draft compensation for the Bears, but let's take a minute and be thrilled that Ian Cunningham got his dream job and not pissed that Ryan Poles didn't spite the Falcons and block his friend from taking a job he wanted over draft picks. Arthur Blank was one of the leaders to get this rule established. He's part of the DEI committee. He did not purposely screw the Bears. For years, myself and many others screamed that the Bears needed a President of Football Operations because we didn't trust George and Ted Phillips to oversee the football operations because they didnt know anything about football. Rich McKay had previously been the Falcons President and he had a football background and could oversee football ops, he moved into a new role and Greg Beadles took over a month ago and he's a finance guy. Blank wanted a football guy to oversee football ops. That's all this is. The same structure we wanted the Bears to have for years prior to Kevin Warren. Yes it sucks there are no comp picks but the Bears are becoming a good org with people in demand from other teams and Ian Cunningham got his dream job and that's a hell of a lot more important than 2 3rd round picks.
ESPN sources: Falcons are hiring Bears assistant GM Ian Cunningham as their general manager.

My plan if I'm the Hawks: 1. Cap dump Trae to Wiz. 2. Don't trade for AD. Too old. Too injury-prone. 3. Win lottery with Pels pick. Or whatever. Draft star. 4. Split newfound cap space on Coby White and a shooting center (first choice would be Sandro Mamukelashvili). 5. Profit.

You can see Jalen Johnson visually frustrated at Onyeka Okongwu not going for the ball, it leads to an open 3PT by Miles Bridges. This just can’t happen

#Falcons TE/WR Kyle Pitts was named the NFC offensive player of the week. Pitts caught 11 of his 12 targets for a career-high 166 yards and three touchdowns in the 29-28 win over the #Bucs.

Kyle Pitts is only 3 months older than Travis Kelce was when he caught his first NFL pass.

Arthur Blank paid 545 million to buy the Falcons, now the team is valued at 6.35 Billion. He really doesnt care about winning and it shows

I wouldn’t be mad at Penix if he throws it to Drake London every time

Michael Penix Jr. had the third best QBR in Week 9 (through Sunday's games). Penix's 89.6 was behind Sam Darnold (97.8) and Lamar Jackson (92). #Falcons

Bijan Robinson played 54 Snaps against the Bills. He was in Motion on 15 of those Snaps and got 24 Touches on 26 Targets. Here's how the Falcons structured their ENTIRE Gameplan around their ELITE RB (along with a few ideas you should steal): 🧵

Got some people that seem to forget Raheem Morris was the WR coach during one of the most successful offensive seasons in @AtlantaFalcons history … He knows what it’s supposed to look like and this past Sunday wasn’t it. @929MorningShift

Parker Romo, a Peachtree City, Georgia native, spent Wednesday night having dinner at Ponce City Market with his father and brother, a sort of celebration after signing with his hometown team. Now, Romo will kick for the #Falcons in primetime tomorrow against his former team.

Keeping Grady meant blocking Ruke. Been saying that all offseason. Bruh is a young monster.

Penix's college career can be summed up by plays like this: Insane throws in the most high-leverage moments (3rd/4th down, game-ending drive, CFP on the line, etc) Except Rome Odunze would actually make all these catches Genuinely the most cold-blooded QB I ever witnessed.
