The question shouldn't be about any previous health condition, but about whether a person would be alive if not for covid.

Indigenous Veterans Day: my dad was just a wee Métis boy during the war. He told me that he would pick milkweed fluff for making life jackets for those going oversees. Women and children in our communities were also doing their part.

Today is day 4 of Treaties Recognition Week in Ontario. We need to do work beyond programs and services. We should be discussing self-determination, treaties and land claims. We can do better. We must do better. – at Toronto, Ontario

It has been 872 days since the closing ceremonies of the #MMIWG National Inquiry. It has been 872 days without action on the 231 #CallsForJustice. We cannot wait a day longer – we need action now.

Today I asked the Min. of Education @Sflecce why First Nations schools are not included in Ontario free menstrual products program. I was not given an answer. Jurisdictional issues should not be dividing provincial and First Nations schools and students.

Canada let Enbridge complete Line 3 the day after the first-ever National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, “intended” to honor the country’s Indigenous communities. You cannot make this up. #StopLine3

There have been at least 4,000 #MMIWG in Canada in the last 30 years. Ask yourself how this has not occupied your news daily. Ask yourself if that makes sense. How are we not doing more to save our Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit people?

There are 231 Calls for Justice out of the National Inquiry in MMIWG - released two years ago - and the Liberal government hasn’t fully implemented any of them. Not one. After a $92 million inquiry. #elxn2021
