The draft Conversion Practices Bill is a totalitarian overreach. Threatening prison for prayer, pastoral care, or parents guiding their children on sex and gender destroys religious freedom and family life. Christian Democracy UK rejects this state policing of faith and conscience. Protect the common good. SCRAP IT!
🚨 NEW: The Church of England has warned that the Government’s proposed ban on conversion therapy could "criminalise prayer" Under the proposed law, people could face up to 5 years in prison for attempting to change or suppress someone's sexual orientation or gender identity

So you're saying he deserved to be beaten to a pulp by immigrants for expressing his views in a supposed democratic country? He's just proved his own point, these violent immigrants need deporting.

My objection to the religious left is that it only takes the Christian ethical teachings seriously when they don't run into any conflict with contemporary secular progressive ethics, as with abortion. If you only believe the parts of Christianity that make you popular, then you don't really believe in Christianity, whose founder was quite unpopular in his time.
One of the more exciting parts of this election - among many - is the return of a religious left.

Trump squandered an historic opportunity to reverse half a century of betrayal in America by launching a foolish war on behalf of Israel - a war that you and Reform UK cheerled like obedient little vassals. That is the lesson. He did not lose because he was too right-wing.
There is a battle for the soul of the right in our country. And many lessons to learn from the US especially how NOT to govern. Voters want results. As I wrote in The Right Way, democratic legitimacy now demands performance legitimacy. Brilliant analysis from Allister Heath👇

The ultimate proof against the myth that the "transatlantic accent" was fake and only used in radio/film. Some people legitimately sounded like that back in the day
Watching old-school Hollywood actors make mistakes and then let out a string of profanities—all delivered in their signature "transatlantic accent"—makes those moments even more entertaining.

NO MORE POINTLESS FOREIGN WARS
Iran has cost the Republicans far more than anyone expected. It was a catastrophic mistake. And if Reform or the Tories were in charge, we would have gone to war right behind them. On day one, Restore Britain said no. It was not right for the British people, and we were absolutely right to draw that line in the sand. The consequences of ANOTHER pointless Middle Eastern war have reached far into the homes of ordinary British families. The price of petrol. The cost of heating. The weekly food shop. The mortgage. The small business struggling to pay its electricity bill. YOUR life has been made so much more expensive by THEIR war. Every pointless escalation has made life more expensive for people who are already being squeezed from every direction. For what? To what end? What has this war achieved? Absolutely nothing of worth. Restore Britain said no. Not because we support the Iranian regime. Obviously that is not the case. But because the first duty of a British government is to protect Britain and its people. And that very much includes protecting British families from the economic consequences of wars that are evidently and clearly not in our national interest. When oil prices rise, families pay more to fill their cars. Those moving goods face higher diesel costs. Farmers pay more to operate their machinery. Businesses face rising transport and production bills. Those costs do not stay at the petrol pump. That gets passed on. EVERYTHING gets more expensive. It is always the same people who end up paying. It’s not the politicians making grand speeches about international leadership. It’s not the commentators demanding military action from the comfort of television studios. It is British mums and dads trying to stretch the wage for a few extra days. It’s the pensioner frightened to put the heating on. The young couple wondering whether they can afford a home. The small business owner calculating whether another increase in costs will finally force them to close. They have been handed another bill for someone else’s war - a war backed by everyone on the right apart from Restore Britain. Farage said this is the ‘right one’, and 'the gloves need to come off’. That is VERY easy to say from a GB News studio. A Restore Britain government will put the interests of its own citizens before the approval of foreign leaders. Britain does not need another foreign war. We tried that. It failed, over and over. The abuse I received from Reform politicians for saying so was extreme. They were wrong. The Tories were wrong. Restore Britain was right. We need cheaper energy, affordable food, secure borders. We need to control inflation. We need to make our economy deliver for working men and women. THAT is our aim. Not getting dragged into another pointless foreign war. Our loyalty is to the British people. Our responsibility is to British families. Our aim is to make life affordable again for our people. And our answer to yet another unnecessary war was no, and remains no. No more pointless foreign wars.

Sold his soul for 30 pieces of silver and then lost the silver. May this bring repentance.
I have been clear about this issue time and time again and I will not allow Abdul to lie about my position. This decision is one of the hardest decisions a woman will make in her entire life and it should be handled with her family and her doctor. Period. The Michigan voters went to the ballot box and made a woman’s right to choose part our State Constitution and as Michigan’s next Senator I will never go to Washington and overturn the will of the Michigan people.

Hi, I'm Max Walker. I've lived on Canford Cliffs Road for more than twenty-two years. I've raised my family here, and I care about Restoring Britain. I don’t wear a lanyard and pin badges on my jacket, or publish pictures of my family with a big fluff dog. I am new to Politics and want to be a councillor, to listen to my community and make a real difference, both Regionally and Nationally. Restore Britain were the only and obvious party that made sense, not just for me, but for you the voter. Penn Hill has many independent shops, cafes and familiar neighbourhood streets. What makes an area special is the everyday things: getting about, looking after shared spaces, reducing crime with over 500 last year just in our area, and being heard in the Town Hall, particularly if the BCP Council are making decisions and spending our money without public consent, or real accountability. Then there are the practical issues of daily life: school-run parking, road and pavement repairs, blocked drains, lighting, parks, and supporting our local shops. These issues may sound small compared with a council budget, but they matter as they affect local people every day. The Penn Hill by-election is on Thursday the fifth of November. Polling stations are open from seven in the morning until ten at night. It is time to put Restore Britain to the test...as all other political parties have failed you, sucking away your salary, pension and savings to fund failed Government policies and excessive spending. Vote Restore Britain this Thursday and see what new Party Politics can do for you. Thank you Max Walker Restore Britain Penn Hill

💔HEARTBREAKING: A detransitioner on reddit WISHES her mum had "made her life hell" in order to prevent her getting the surgery she so deeply regrets. Sometimes, kids need to be told "no", for their own good. The conversion therapy bill could make such a "no" a crime.👇
