Since 1975, over $50 trillion in wealth has been redistributed from the bottom 90% to the top 1% according to that bastion of democratic socialism the RAND Corporation. Yes. That is what the wreckage of fifty years of neoliberalism and neoconservatism has caused.

In a last desperate flea flicker the “nothing is wrong, nothing needs to change” contingent is now telling us Biden was a rabble rousing, barnstorming reincarnation of FDR and Harris’ lost proves that economic left populism is a nonstarter. Ok man, sure, whatever you say

The genocide played a bigger role in Harris losing the election that most want to admit.
Americans are starting to see the intersection between foreign policy and domestic issues. They see America is spending billions to blow up kids while they can't get healthcare

Bernie Sanders responds to Nancy Pelosi's statement that "I don't respect him saying that the Democratic Party has abandoned the working class."
SANDERS: "We have not even brought forth legislation to raise the minimum wage to a living wage, despite the fact that some 20 million people in this country are working for less than $15 an hour in America today...if you're an average working person out there, do you really think that the democratic party is going to the mats, taking on powerful special interest and fighting for you? I think the overwhelming answer is no."

At what point are Dem voters gonna look at what Biden and Congress are using this time to do: pass measures that will give Trump more power be it with the border/immigration crackdown or to increase the ability to go after these orgs for their political views once in power?
Donald Trump wants revenge. And he might get a major assist from Democrats in making that happen.
On Tuesday, Congress is poised to approve a powerful new tool that Trump could use to crush his political enemies

What do you mean the argument is that Maccabi fans incited the violence?
They perpetrated violence. They attacked bystanders on the streets. They attacked a Moroccan taxi driver. They threw things at private homes and burned flags.
While chanting and singing not the language of pogrom, but of genocide, while marching through a city with an Arab population demanding their physical extermination.
Do you accept this or not, keeping in mind this is all on camera?
A yes or no will do!

Thanks Mike. Of course, I’m not comparing the scale of trauma and violence. Just the logic. And if the logic is: the Maccabi fans incited the violence so what happened to them and other non-involved Dutch Jews was somehow justified - then they are Hamas in this comparison and you are the genocidal cheerleader who thinks pointing out “they started it” makes everything ok. Hope that clears things up.

On Tuesday, Missouri, a conservative state, voted to raise the minimum wage to $15/hr and to guarantee paid sick leave to workers.
These are popular ideas that Democrats, Republicans, and Independents support.
The only people who don’t support them are the billionaire class.

There’s a concerted effort to deny key role played by US-Israeli genocide in Gaza. It was decisive in Michigan. Across the country it alienated vast swaths of Dem base. A year of demonizing *tens of thousands* of college students as antisemitic extremists: this obviously mattered
