The last 365 days have undoubtedly been the best of my life.
I got married to my lovely wife surrounded by our friends and family, visited Japan and Egypt with her (two dreams we've had since we were kids), wrote a book, & finally got to meet Zack Snyder.
I feel truly blessed.❤️

$250M in production budget and $150M in marketing went into BvS.
$450M production budget and around $250M in marketing went into the films on the right.

Horrific unserious filmmaking, mediocre acting, with an even worse script, story is a generic predictable nothing burger. Waste of time and money, hated almost every minute of this.
Only thing redeemable is the cosmetics and effects.

Replying to @homeofdcu @ERCboxoffice
You're a DCU page who tried to manipulate a wikipedia site solely to make James Gunn look more succesful. Can you imagine what level of weirdo you gotta be to even think of shit like that. Too bad Wikipedia caught you weirdos and banned your buddy

Level headed DC fans, right???
I dared to agree that Clayface deserved a C grade and got this response.
Tell me again that the Gunn Cult isn’t as toxic as the Snyder Bros. 🤨
Over 8K likes?!?
DCU fans ain't normal.

"Necesita 75M para recuperar la inversión" 44 x 2,5= 110M. Es increíble como quieren jugar siempre con otras reglas diferentes al resto xD
#Clayface opened #1 at box office with $24M in its domestic weekend.
It earned $19M internationally
Opens with $43M globally in its opening weekend.
Needs $75M to break even 🔥

He said the quiet part aloud.
A game of access.
That's how it's handled behind the scenes.

When you think the competition is the MCU, but in reality, your competition is the Sony-verse 😔
“Clayface” arrived on the lower end of the studio’s expectations of $25 million to $35 million.
The antihero adaptation earned another $19 million overseas for a global tally of $43 million.

You literally have Birds Of Prey.
That movie made $200M on a $80M budget.
Hamada didn't pursue a sequel and that guy was trying to make Wonder Twins.
When CBMs reach that $100M-$200M box office range it's considered IP waste.

It didn't recoup its entire production budget though. That'll be when it reaches $90M. Then it'll have to climb to recoup its marketing budget.
The way this movie is performing terribly all around but studio shills are trying to paint it as a success is so fucking weird lmao

It's all cope from corporate shills
Doomsday is going to outgross Supergirl and Clayface worldwide totals with its China opening weekend alone
Making a Clayface movie is playing hide and seek to keep your job instead of keeping up with the competition
The budget isn’t really a point worth defending in regards to CLAYFACE.
Listen, even MORBIUS debuted with $39M. CLAYFACE, which is drawn from one of the biggest IP brands in the world, dropped with $15M less than Sony's horror spinoff.
A lower budget may limit the financial damage, but in no way does it create audience demand. And that's the point. Choosing CLAYFACE as the DCU’s third film was the misstep. Oh, and making 3 out of 4 set in the SUPERMAN universe. Yes, the DC brand is in trouble. What's new?

Yup.
Gunn & Safran are in charge since 2022 where Black Adam was clowned on every corner of the Hollywood press for making $400M paving the way for their job.
Their DCU crowd in 2026 is bringing around half of that crowd (probably less with inflation).
Yikes.
Clay didn't slay.
WB's CLAYFACE is the #1 movie in North America w/ a debut of $24M, but the DC brand itself is in a freefall.
You know what really sucks: even MORBIUS opened with $39M.
