Since when is sitting still a key criteria for a 4 year old @bphillipsonMP ? Does sitting still mean they’re listening? Children need to move more now - with the rise in sedentary lifestyles and childhood obesity. Active learning and healthy living need to be prioritised.
Non-statutory KS1 SATs has opened a door for playful pedagogy to be further developed in Years 1 and 2. I am excited to move our playful provision into Year 2 next year. #playfullearning #playfulpedagogy
