A reminder that the NC GOP changed how the state board of elections functions after Josh Stein won the 2024 election for governor, transferring the power to decide the majority on the board from the governor's office... to the office of the auditor, which the GOP happened to win.

The State Board of Elections’ last-minute changes to voting by mail are leading to thousands more absentee ballots being rejected this election - at a rejection rate twice as high as in 2022. It’s infuriating. North Carolinians, please make a plan to vote this year, in person if possible. And if you’re voting by mail, make sure you seal both envelopes on your ballot. Don’t let them take away your vote.

Why are so many people saying what VP Harris shouldn't do? Are they worried about her? I believe the primary voters especially will be crystal clear about whom they do not want. I think the lesson of 2024 is we shouldn't be speaking for the primary voters and should let them speak for themselves.
