@GenLayer arrives on THE DAY, but mainnet comes later. This programme covers the time in between. If you have the airdrop, you're in from day one.
Your unclaimed airdrop counts as staked automatically and earns Staking Points even while it's locked. Each GEN staked earns 1 point a day, same rate for everyone, any amount. Their example: 1,000 GEN is 1,000 points on day one and 30,000 a month later. You can also stake extra GEN on the Portal and withdraw it any time.
So the scoring is simple: more GEN staked, for longer, means more points. Everything lands on a live leaderboard that shows where you'd rank if the programme ended today, and that leaderboard decides who gets the node seats.
A node seat is a spot as a validator on mainnet. Validators run the network's nodes and vote on outcomes, each using a different AI model. Winners start as validators, backed at first by the Foundation's GEN.
You don't have to run a node yourself. Once the Clarke testnet starts, you can run one or pick one of GenLayer's node-as-a-service providers to do it for you.

Here’s a solid routine for the @potsmarket Trading Arena.
Check your ranking three times a day — morning, midday, and night.
Track your Valid Notional Volume after every session and screenshot the leaderboard.
At the end of the day, review your trades. See what worked and what didn’t.
If progress is slow, focus on high-activity markets. If volume is flowing, stay disciplined.
Before every trade, look at liquidity and activity. No random entries.

Today I compared ETH and ARB on @tryquantio AI to see which one offers better liquidity and more efficient trade execution.
The difference was significant.
ETH recorded:
• $13.33B in 24h spot volume
• $913.62M in perps volume
• $2.20B in open interest
ARB recorded:
• Around $110M–$160M in 24h spot volume
• $9.24M in perps volume
• $13.73M in open interest
That puts ETH’s perps volume roughly 99x higher, with about 160x the open interest.
The implication is that ETH is better positioned to absorb larger orders, while ARB may be more sensitive to market impact, especially during volatile periods.
One limitation: exact order-book depth, bid-ask spreads and slippage estimates weren't available, so those costs couldn't be measured directly.
My takeaway: ETH looks easier to execute efficiently. ARB can still be tradable, but order size and execution timing matter much more.

i think one problem with traditional token launches is how rewards can go to people who have the fastest bots or the biggest capital.
people who have actually contributed to an ecosystem can end up competing with wallets created just to farm incentives.
that's why i'm interested in what @zerufinance is building with activity markets.
instead of distributing tokens through a typical airdrop, the model connects mining rights to verifiable onchain activity.
zscore helps evaluate wallet behavior, while zaps tracks participation and contribution.
for the first activity market, zeth, ethereum activity helps determine who gets to participate in mining.
i find this approach interesting because it gives existing users a role in how a new token economy starts.
it also raises an important question: can reputation and real activity make token distribution fairer?
i want to see how this model performs beyond its first market.
