I’m STILL thinking about the magic of Clarksdale Culture Capital & #Sinners weekend! When the nation stopped reporting on Clarksdale, I didn’t. I’m still centering Clarksdale’s voices. ❤️ Now, our reporting is an Anthem Awards FINALIST! Help me win the Community Voice Award!

Why do white people need to be in South Africa instead of Europe?
Replying to @KAISANIIII
Why is there white only towns in South Africa?? Would that be due to the amount of blacks that kill and rape them that they segregate?? Because let’s be real I believe blacks should be all sent to Africa and all us whites back in Europe! You people are the worst of society!

The way Black celebrities are creating the conditions for their own irrelevance is a beautiful thing.

Preach!
We can’t compete with Mississippi State and Jackson State for Athletes. He didn’t steal anybody’s spot. We are a tiny low enrollment HBCU in a region with declining population. International students help keep the doors open. They also keep tuition low.

Marlon Humphrey got before cameras and admitted to being the uneducated, non informed black athlete that black athletes are stereotyped as. Admitting to never voting at before at the age of 30, and not being informed is embarrassing to himself but sadly he doesn’t know it🤦🏾

Again and again @AngieNixon is demonstrating how much better it looks for Dems to stand up for, rather than run from, their beliefs. Most people prefer a leader with guts to a craven coward. This is the way. Dems, be leaders with guts. Be like Angie!
🚨@AngieNixon SCHOOLS an Ashley Moody disruptor at a press conference: “The Black Panther Party saw that people didn’t have access to quality healthcare. They popped up free health clinics because the government was failing to ensure that people had a safety net. They started free health clinics and that’s been replicated by organizations all across the country who are in communities when people like @AshleyMoodyFL decide to vote to end healthcare for over 440,000 people here in the state of Florida!”

It is fine to issue statements, but what is the WHCA going to do? Other than plan its next black tie dinner honoring Trump.
Today’s action revoking access for journalists from CNN, POLITICO, and MSNOW violates the First Amendment. The implications extend beyond these organizations: a standard used to exclude one news outlet because of its coverage could be applied to any outlet in the future. The American people, through a free and independent press, must be able to scrutinize those elected to power, regardless of whether government officials view it favorably.  That’s why courts have repeatedly held that once the White House provides access to journalists, it cannot deny that access arbitrarily or based on the content of their reporting. The WHCA calls on the administration to immediately restore our colleagues' access. - Jacqui Heinrich, WHCA President
