Today, NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory caught the Sun "smiling." Seen in ultraviolet light, these dark patches on the Sun are known as coronal holes and are regions where fast solar wind gushes out into space.

We are often told that (dy/dx) is not a quotient. Yet interpreting it as a ratio of infinitesimal changes , but I think this explanation(book page 16) is far simpler than the limit-based definition of the derivative.
