This is why Mark Carney needed the numbers he got. A functional majority (helped by floor-crossers who abandoned the voters who elected them) means almost zero real accountability for three more years. Committees can be shut down when the questions get uncomfortable. Debate gets limited. The government marks its own homework. And that is exactly the setup required for the spending machine. Every week another billions-dollar announcement. More “investment.” More “assets.” More money funneled through Crown corporations, special funds, and capital projects that don’t fully hit the deficit the way ordinary people understand debt. The PBO has already warned that real cash borrowing over five years is projected at $733 billion while reported cumulative deficits are only $333 billion. The gap is deliberately parked off the books that make the headlines look less ugly. Accrual accounting lets them call spending an asset instead of a liability. Interest payments—the fastest-growing federal expense—still have to be paid by taxpayers either way. No COVID. No genuine national emergency. Just permanent crisis rhetoric about a “dark and dangerous world” while domestic results get worse and the debt load grows. With majority control, there is almost no one left in the House who can force a hard stop or real transparency. My nine grandchildren are the ones who will live with the interest bill, the higher taxes or the service cuts that eventually follow. When a government can announce new spending faster than the independent budget officer can track the true cash cost, and when parliamentary scrutiny can be managed or delayed, the system is no longer restraining power. It is enabling it. Wake up. The accounting is creative. The power is concentrated. The trajectory is not sustainable. Name it. Demand better. #cdnpoli
WOW - Liberals keep shutting down debates over and over again. This just shows they are hiding a lot they don't want Canadians to see. This isn't transparent, this isn't democracy

Each time you hear Carney say “In a more dangerous and divided world,” know that it’s an age-old fear mongering tactic so that you don’t question when he: 1) introduces new laws to limit more of your freedoms 2) spends more of your tax money on government bureaucracies 3) spends more of your tax money outside Canada It’s that simple folks. Hopefully you recognize the pattern next time he does it.

Bank of Canada raises interest rates by 0.25% to 2.5%. Complete stupidity. Bank of Canada's rate has no impact on energy prices. Zero. And if you remove the impact of gasoline prices from Canada's CPI by every measure they trending lower and with the Bank's range. While Canadians are losing jobs, record unaffordability and surge in insolvencies, the Bank of Canada decided to make Canadians' lives more expensive 🤦🏼‍♂️

WHERE ARE ALL THESE PEOPLE GOING TO LIVE? Michelle Rempel Garner just torched the Liberals in Question Period for jacking up immigration while their own officials warn about housing. The Liberals' answer? A canned talking point. Then she brought up the housing minister's reported $10 MILLION real estate portfolio: "That must be nice."

When will the Elbows Up crowd finally face reality and admit that they were wrong?

‼️BREAKING: EU to Hit Canada with Carbon Tariffs All is fair in love, war and trade! In a stunning blow, the EU is imposing carbon border charges on Canadian steel, iron, and aluminum starting 2027. -$2.8 billion in exports exposed — no exemption for Canada despite its own carbon price. -Internal docs call it “effectively a carbon tariff.” Quebec and Newfoundland hardest hit as Ottawa pushes EU trade diversification. -Canadian producers face new compliance costs and higher prices on metals already slammed by U.S. tariffs. -The EU is weaponizing climate policy into a direct trade hit on Canada. The EU is applying its Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) to Canadian steel, iron and aluminum to stop “carbon leakage”. Our new best friends dont even want our stuff! How brutal is this?

This morning, I took an Uber. The radio was discussing today's Bank of Canada interest rate announcement. I told the driver I think they'll raise rates by 25 basis points. His response caught me off guard. “Has this country gone mad? Are they trying to put everyone on the streets? There's no demand out there. People are struggling.” Then he told me something I'll never forget. The other day, he came across a homeless man and gave him his lunch. He said, “At least I can work and make some money. I can buy myself another lunch later. That man has no money, no food, nothing.” That conversation stayed with me. When an Uber driver understands the human cost of this economy better than the people making the decisions, you have to wonder how disconnected we've become. This is where Canada is today.

Why does the government not care about this? You want to talk about sovereignty? Start here.
“In February of this year the Jamestown Foundation released a report that pegged Canada as the most subverted by China among G7 countries. The Foreign Interference Commission documented the scope and scale of foreign interference and malign influence in Canada, especially by China’s United Front Work Department. In 2024 the National Security and Intelligence Committee of Parliamentarians finally released the redacted version of its long-awaited report on Foreign Interference in Canada’s Democratic Processes and Institutions,” said MLI Senior Fellow Christian Leuprecht at the Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security on security screenings. @JamestownTweets

This deserves to be answered properly. Was Mark Carney’s wife really the only qualified person in all of Canada for this appointment? Actually, does Diana Fox Carney even live in Canada?🤔
WATCH QP October 27, 2026: The government is not a family-run business. The Prime Minister created an official Government role for his wife as Canada's new "Ocean Envoy" and gave her more than $1.2 billion tax dollars to work with. Liberals shut down a motion to have her appear at Committee to explain her new role, her mandate, her priorities, and what the $1.2 Billion tax dollars will be used for. #cdnpoli

Tough day to be a tax/rate payer. Council is advancing water rate hikes of up to 74% for homeowners and 95% for businesses by 2030. When governments raise taxes and rates instead of cutting non-essential spending, those costs get passed straight through to customers. Higher utility bills raise the cost of living, push up prices for goods and services, and fuel inflation, even at the municipal level. Infrastructure is a core need. Terrible governance from the past council shouldn't fall on current tax-payers. Funding infrastructure by shaking down taxpayers and businesses while non-priority spending continues is just as a terrible choice as not funding in the first place.

Why are the Liberals so eager to allow people to kill themselves? Just so we’re clear. Under the new MAID bill (C-41), you can sign a form today saying “when I hit this stage of dementia, kill me.” Then years later, when you no longer know who you are, where you are, or what’s happening to you, a doctor can show up and end your life. You won’t be asked. You won’t be told. You won’t understand. The only thing that stops it is if you somehow manage to grunt, flinch, or wave your arm in a way the doctor decides counts as “resistance.” If they have any doubt, they just wait 30 days and try again. This isn’t compassion. This is a government writing rules for how to quietly dispose of people who can no longer object. This is not progressive. This is sick.

BREAKING: M.A.I.D. now part of DNR Orders(Do Not Resusitate) with Bill C-41... Massive outrage as Canada’s highly controversial medical updates spark absolute horror over patient safeguards. Critics are calling it an unhinged dystopia after proposals emerged that could blur the lines between standard medical care and state-sponsored life-ending procedures. Under the guise of "advanced directives," critics warn the system is opening a terrifying backdoor that effectively lets medical institutions decide if and when to end a citizen's life. Slipping lethal execution protocols into a patient’s medical chart—collapsing the line between a standard Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) order and an active push for medical assistance in dying (MAID)—is a localized death sentence. Giving hospitals the bureaucratic authority to decide when someone's "quality of life" has expired is an unspeakable violation of human rights. Bill C-41 is turning hospitals from places of healing into execution chambers. This is absolute insanity. #Canada #MAID #C41 #BreakingNews #DNR #AssistedDying

Canadian natives are the most expensive people to supply clean, drinking water to on the planet. Canada holds 20% of the worlds fresh surface water Billions of dollars are spent on less than 5% of the population, Yet they never can seem to get the clean drinking water the money is earmarked for.
"Access to safe drinking water is an internationally recognized human right." @MarkJCarney is investing over $12B in First Nations communities, targeting critical infrastructure on reserves: - $3.5B for education - $4B for affordable housing - $4.5B for clean water & wastewater systems

The BC teachers union president issued this statement today 🥴 "I recognize that with the outcome of a Conservative government, many of us may be feeling disappointed, scared, or deeply concerned about what might come next. I know these results may be particularly concerning for Indigenous, racialized, and 2SLGBTQIA+ members. You are not alone."

This joining the E.U. psyop (i.e. manufactured consent) being pumped into the minds of Canadians is insane. A thread. Europe is crumbling economically and politically. This is because of the same policy set (and people?) that have caused the worst economic stagnation in Canada in a generation. Naive 'Green' energy policy has gutted its industrial base; the insatiable leviathan of public spending; and a regulatory boa constrictor that protects incumbents and crushes entrepreneurial spirit and, yes, mass immigration. Germany, Europe's most important economy, is hemorrhaging jobs. For 17 months and counting, employment has shrunk.

Nobody is pushing to “join the EU.” Literally nobody.
Europe's economy is in shambles and fracturing politically. The idea that they will lead the 'new world order' is laughable. From a Canadian perspective, the push to join the EU is contrived and clearly not in the best interests of regular Canadians. It is about breathing life into a tired globalist establishment and bailing out a failed ideology.
