There鈥檚 no grand conspiracy.
She was a bad leader and horribly mismanaged things. That鈥檚 it. That鈥檚 the story.
Do you see the bigger picture of what just happened in British Columbia? If you think the few months were simply political infighting, you鈥檙e missing something much bigger.
We had a democratically elected Conservative leader. A real conservative. Kerry-Lynne Findlay had grassroots support, a clear vision, and something rare in Canadian politics: the backbone to follow through.
But there was a problem.
She wasn鈥檛 aligned with the federal Liberals or the globalist agenda I believe is driving this country.
She proposed a Western coalition to challenge federal overreach, fight the gun grab, defend freedom of religion and expression, enshrine property rights, and protect digital free speech.
She wasn鈥檛 promising to fight back. She was preparing to do it.
That threatened more than a few political careers.
A provincial government willing to challenge Ottawa? A leader who couldn鈥檛 be controlled by the usual power brokers?
That was a problem.
Then came the operatives, lobbyists, and party insiders. The backroom scheming, attempts to undermine her leadership, and ultimately blackmail.
I watched it unfold.
And eventually, they got what they wanted.
Goodbye KLF. Goodbye grassroots democracy.
Party bosses installed their own leader without a membership vote, then moved to rewrite the constitution so he wouldn鈥檛 face a leadership race.
The members elected a leader. Insiders replaced her and moved to change the rules to keep their man in power.
No vote. No accountability. No voice for members.
All TWO DAYS before an election writ dropped.
Just another coincidence?
Now zoom out.
This is bigger than BC.
Canada is being pushed toward centralized power, diminished freedoms, and increasingly powerless citizens.
Call it globalism. Call it the political ruling class. Call it whatever you want.
Look what鈥檚 happening.
Mass immigration is transforming Canada, while election laws don鈥檛 require voters to produce documentary proof of citizenship.
You can declare yourself a citizen without producing citizenship documents at the ballot box.
In BC, you can vote without presenting your own ID if another voter vouches for you.
Citizenship determines who shapes this country鈥檚 future. Why aren鈥檛 we demanding stronger verification?
Non-citizens cannot legally vote. But a prohibition and the safeguards enforcing it are different things.
Now ask yourself.
If powerful political interests are shaping this country鈥檚 direction, how do you keep the population from revolting?
Give them the illusion of choice.
Change the jerseys. Change the faces. Give people a few victories.
No more free drugs. A marginal tax adjustment. A handful of promises.
The sheep celebrate.
The sheep go back to sleep.
Different shepherd. Same direction.
Globalists advance their agenda. Government promises to reverse it, but doesn鈥檛. Elections come and go, but the same insiders, lobbyists, and powerful interests remain.
Canadians keep fighting over which jersey deserves their loyalty.
The greatest political illusion is convincing people they鈥檙e in control while ensuring their choices never threaten those holding power.
Give the sheep just enough hope. Just enough change. Just enough outrage at the other team.
Keep them divided, distracted, and fighting each other instead of questioning who鈥檚 directing the herd.
How many broken promises? Political betrayals? Conservative governments that conserve absolutely nothing?
How much worse does Canada need to get before people wake up?
Real change doesn鈥檛 come from changing jerseys. It comes from changing who holds power.
The power brokers won this round in BC.
But here鈥檚 what they should fear.
The day the sheep realize they鈥檙e being herded is the day the shepherds lose control.
Stop worshipping parties. Stop celebrating crumbs. Stop mistaking a change of jerseys for a change of direction.
The illusion only works as long as we believe it.
Wake up, Canada.

Someone needs to do a high quality documentary on the rise of the BC Conservative Party, an essentially leaderless movement that destroyed the BC Liberals and revived a brand in BC that had been essentially dead for 100 years. What a ride.

It might have taken five years, but we finally brought common sense back to British Columbia.
Congratulations to the first Conservative Premier in nearly 100 years, @LDoerkson, on his crushing victory - looking forward to working with you to restore the promise of BC! 馃嚚馃嚘

Can鈥檛 help but feel like the movement needed this win, not only in BC, but nationally too.
Never doom.

The party that vowed to remove the ideological claptrap of SOGI from BC鈥檚 schools just won a super majority.
Sanity and child safeguarding is gradually being restored, bit by bit, even in Canada.

For the first time in a long time, it feels like there's more optimism than pessimism within the Canadian Conservative movement, and honestly? That rocks
We need to be a Conservative movement that is serious and can talk to normal people and the broader electorate, while also being actually conservative and not crony Doug Ford politics or running away from social issues.
The BC Conservatives proved that鈥檚 possible last night.
Because there was no one left that was pure enough or conservative enough for them.
I also don鈥檛 see how they are much different than the BC Cons who are already going to cut taxes, repeal DRIPA, and repeal SOGI.
I don鈥檛 have anything against Dallas or Wyatt, that鈥檚 just the political reality of it. They didn鈥檛 seem like they were running a serious party.
They also don鈥檛 seem to understand that BC always was a right wing coalition under Social Credit and the BC Liberals. This idea of a pure Conservative Party is never going to work here.

It is a triumph that a Conservative Party dominated a city, including downtown cores, while not capitulating on really any policy.
It goes to show that voters are very open to Conservatism. In fact, we are just shy of winning the majority popular vote. Tone, tone, tone!

Emily Lowan @Emily_Lowan had something going. Everyone I talked to on the ground said her working-class policies were landing. Housing costs, wages, the everyday grind. That stuff resonated with regular people. Then she started talking about land acknowledgements and SOGI and tried to out-NDP the NDP. That's where she lost the plot. I don't know if it's because she's young or because she actually believes that nonsense. Doesn't matter. The second she went full progressive activist, she stopped talking about the things that actually keep British Columbians up at night. Had they stuck to the working-class message and ignored the social BS, they would've done better. Two seats is about right for a party that's still more interested in virtue-signaling than governing. If they ever want more than that, they need to drop the activist cosplay and focus on what actually matters to people who work for a living.
Compared to the way Lorne Doerkson spoke about her congratulating her for the campaign she and Eby ran even though he completely disagrees with them on just about everything.
This is why no one takes the progressive left seriously anymore lol.

Carney -you could learn a lot from this speech !
"Strong leadership... isn't loud. It's showing up. It's telling people the truth. It's keeping the promises that you have made, and it's owning it when you get something wrong."
In his victory speech, Premier-designate @LDoerkson pledged a grounded, accountable approach to governing B.C.

Thank you, British Columbia.
Tonight, you voted for change. You voted for a government that will listen, keep life affordable, and never take your hard-earned money for granted.
I want to thank every volunteer who knocked on doors, made calls, and put up signs in the rain. I want to thank our candidates, who stepped forward in a snap election with no time to spare. And I want to thank my wife Shelley and my family for standing beside me every step of the way.
To those who didn鈥檛 vote for us: I will work just as hard for you. This is your government too.
The work starts now. Let鈥檚 get to it.

Congratulations to BC Premier-elect @LDoerkson and the new BC Conservative government on today鈥檚 impressive win.
We are never going to agree on football teams but I know there are a lot of other areas where we will work together to build our provinces within a strong and united Canada.

I was thinking this had to be one 鈥搃f not the best, arrivals of a Premier-elect I've seen.
He truly deserves this win.
