If you are in London, do not underestimate the significance of this.
@harveyhodd and the @Rivanindustries team have just opened a 60,000 sq ft manufacturing site in LONDON.
Three weeks ago @AFitzgerald1992 announced that @IsembardGroup was opening up a 160,000 sq ft site, also in London (the largest factory to open in central London since the Second World War)
Isembard is producing components for aerospace, defence and robotics, while Rivan is producing synthetic natural gas.
Both are doing so from London.
When we talk about reindustrialising the UK, this it IT.

100% true - this would be a big mistake. Right now is a critical moment for tech as an economic and national security issue. Tying up our most senior science and tech officials in a reorg wastes time and energy that’s desperately needed for the actual substance.
Would be incredibly stupid to change whats working. UK needs to keep aggressively investing in tech (both financially and policy-wise) - any reorg will jeopardise this.
