Weekend Reminder
Dear Coaches and Parents,
The match this weekend is for your children to enjoy. It’s their game. It’s their time to play. The opponents are other people’s children enjoying the game as well.
Let ‘em play.

You don’t need more drills.
You need a way to connect everything you believe about the game…
…and turn it into something players can feel, learn, and enjoy.

Concurrently
(happening at same time)
Many skills in sport are acquired concurrently. Particularly in team sports where many variables are in play. And where skills are solutions to a contextual challenge.
Plan team trainings accordingly.

Metrics
A match result is a poor metric for learning.
🎯 Players can learn a great deal during the week and still come up against a better team.
Consider focusing on progress as success.

And we head to OT 😬
A spirited affair saw the Heels equalize during the second half and almost bag a late winner.

Let’s go!
Banger of a match 🤯
