Chris Gradoville - the legacy of a high impact man. Today, we remember a high impact man that we lost two years ago, Chris Gradoville, aka F3 Nugent. Nugent's legacy in @F3Omaha and the Omaha community will continue forever. One of his dear friends, @woody22433 Mark Wellwood shared the series of events that led Chris to @F3Nation . I call these moments “rips in time.” A rip in time, is a moment that creates unseen ripples that forever change lives. Mark traced the rips in time leading to the positive impact that Chris made through F3. In 2015, Cory Phillips, @PhunnyHaHa was initially invited to F3 during a Camping Trip in Greensboro, NC. He initially declined the invitation until another friend convinced Cory to try it out. On May 30, 2015, Cory became F3 Tommy Boy. Months later, Tommy Boy ran into me. I was rehabbing my injured foot at a swimming pool. I hated swimming, so on July 20, 2015, I became F3 Wait Time. In 2016, I moved to Omaha. There was no F3 in the region, so in 2018 I began recruiting men to F3Omaha and convinced a colleague’s husband, Blake Richards, @BigRuckus7 to help launch it. On April 21, 2018, Blake became F3 Brazilian. The night before F3 Nation launched in Omaha, Brazilian had dinner with a friend, Nick Rudman, @nick_rudman and invited him to the first work out in Omaha. On April 21, 2018, Nick became F3 No Doze. Two months later, No Doze invited a family member, Matt Garland @mgarland33 , to a workout. On June 2, 2018, Matt became F3 The Big One. A couple months later, The Big One was in a golf outing with his friend, Adrian Rider @AdrianRRider . By the end of the day, The Big One convinced Adrian to join a workout. On September 18, 2018 Adrian became F3 Tater Tot. Ten months later, Tater Tot reached out to Mark Wellwood on Facebook and invited him to F3. On August 15, 2019, Mark became F3 Sparty. Over the next year, Sparty had multiple conversations with his good friend, Chris Gradoville, who was living in Spokane, WA. Sparty explained how F3 changed his life. Chris and his wife, Nikki, decided to move back to Omaha. Two days after returning to Omaha - on July 7, 2020, Chris Gradoville became F3 Nugent. Chris loved F3. He didn’t need F3 to make his impact on the world, but he impacted the men of F3. His legacy is immeasurable - The Chris Gradoville Memorial Scholarship has been awarded to eight young men, and more scholarships will be awarded every year. Today, we remember a man who was hopelessly in love with his wife, Nikki. We remember everyone’s best friend. Guys who never met Chris, now strive to live like him. F3 is free and open to all men. It is nearly impossible to see how a single invitation can positively change the course of men’s lives across the country. In this particularly case, Nugent's immense impact required conversations spanning from Greensboro to Spokane. This weekend, please remember Chris, Nikki and his family. For more info about the scholarship, go to f3omaha.com/ways-to-give/. Rest in peace, Nugent. 🏹⚾️ – at Boys Town, NE
