It is a universally acknowledged truth that all bubbles burst. The only question is if we will hold their promoters accountable.
Nobody is sure when or if the AI bubble will burst. But its 100% clear that unregulated Silicon Valley and Wall Street corporations have endangered everyone without good reason.
Time to take control and reshape the tech industry, before its too late. Must read by @openmarkets:

No it actually confirmed what the left has been saying all along: both parties are on the same team
The judge who signed the warrant to raid Rep. Ilhan Omar's DC home is a Hillary Clinton donor who clerked for an Obama appointee. That fact alone demolishes the left's claim that this is some Trump-orchestrated political hit job.
Mike Davis argues the opposite is true: the evidence against Omar must be so overwhelming that even a judge with deep leftist ties couldn't refuse to sign off. The Fourth Amendment requires probable cause of at least one federal crime inside that home, and U.S. Magistrate Judge Matthew Sharbaugh — appointed by a bench dominated by Obama and Biden picks — found it was there.
Omar's allies in Congress, including Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Jamie Raskin, and Rashida Tlaib, cried political revenge. But Davis says the simplest explanation is the most damning one for Democrats: a federal indictment may be coming before Christmas, and the evidence trail appears to reach well beyond Omar alone.

New: the DHS officials who tried to search the man who wiped his GrapheneOS phone lied. They pushed him about having child abuse images. Documents reveal that was a pretext; he wasn't suspected of this at all. He's a Stop Cop City activist 404media.co/dhs-said-they-se…

🚨 The allegation that Sam Altman and OpenAI tried to squash any mention of his sister Annie from his @NYMag profile has now also been corroborated by Elizabeth Weil herself:
"It was naive to think they could keep this hidden and everyone needs to adjust themselves to reality."

OpenAI later clarified that the device in their offices recording all conversations and interactions to an unknown end was, surprisingly, not one of their own products. Their court filing went on to explain “this is an outrage, spying is our lane.”
We discovered a sophisticated recording device that was hidden inside one of our offices. We used our models to understand the device and where it had come from, identifying that a specific employee had planted it a few days earlier. We referred the matter to the FBI, and we’re grateful to the agents and prosecutors who moved quickly to make an arrest. The FBI’s investigation is ongoing and we will continue to support their work.
At this time, we have no indications of this individual inappropriately accessing or exfiltrating model weights, source code, or customer data. The employee was terminated.
We take protecting our technology, data, and people seriously, and as a matter of national importance. Our security program is designed to protect against a wide range of threat actors, from insider risks to cybercriminals to nation states, and this case is an example of how AI can help address these sophisticated security threats.

Businesses are spending heavily on AI without clear evidence that it is boosting revenue or cutting costs, according to EY executive Dan Diasio.
Usage-based pricing is making that gap harder to ignore as companies face higher AI bills.
