This is so epically lame and paternalistic!
Claude gonna start snitching on Tuesday.
Anthropic just emailed customers. Starting Nov 3, text carries an invisible watermark.
You can't see it. It survives copy and paste, and it can survive some editing.
Only regulators, journalists, fact-checkers and researchers can check for it right now.
It doesn't say who you are. It says Claude touched the words. Even a quick proofread counts.
If your brand voice runs on Claude, write like someone might check. Because now someone can.

realizing i might be part of the last pre-singularity generation.
it is so surreal to be in this razor-thin slice of time and humanity that gets to experience both extremes.
i’m 37 years old. i grew up with no computer, no internet, no tv. we played under the sodium street lamps. no phones, just library books. i remember memorizing entries in the encyclopedia britannica, then the 56k modem screech. i’ve gotten to witness this whole arc. a genuinely pre-digital childhood, and now whatever this is becoming.
it’s just so bizarre to hold all those memories and contrast them with the current state. now i speak into a slab of silicon and glass and it manifests code like water flowing down a hill. i commune with this alien intelligence on a daily basis. same head, same lifetime.
i increasingly feel like a three-dimensional being looking at this multidimensional, crystallized artifact of intelligence that is increasingly beyond my comprehension. i can interact with the little slice facing me, but have less and less intuition for the shape of the whole thing.
if i was positioning myself in a replay of the lead-up to what might be the most significant event in modern human history, i’m not sure i would choose any other years. old enough to remember what came before. young enough to have a lot of life left inside whatever comes next.
sama was talking about the excitement and the melancholy. a feeling of something ending. Cheeky Pint
it feels like we’re on the precipice of handing over the torch of intelligence to something nonhuman. it’s an extreme viewpoint, but it feels like we’re hurtling uncontrollably towards this singularity.
it doesn’t feel real. it probably won’t be a singular, definable moment, but a slow-motion event of gradual realization, with occasional shockwaves.
to quote a great scholar of our times.
“not enough people are emotionally prepared for if it’s not a bubble”
This alone for moving hazardous materials and freight would be a safety win!
The Boring Company is now moving SHIPPING CONTAINERS underground
Its latest Prufrock Liner Truck runs on Tesla Model 3 batteries and drive units, and has been modified to carry a standard 20-foot shipping container through TBC tunnels
And the numbers are impressive:
• Rev 1: 45,000 lb payload capacity
• Rev 2: 75,000 lb payload capacity, targeted for January 2027
• Fully electric, powered by Tesla technology
• Designed to transport standard shipping containers underground
Now imagine shipping containers moving beneath cities, factories, ports, and logistics hubs, without thousands of additional trucks clogging the roads above
Roads above ground for people
Tunnels underground for cargo
The Boring Company is going far beyond passenger transportation, opening up an entirely new opportunity for moving freight underground
This could transform how goods are transported through our cities

biblechat is great but it’s also $6/week. so i set up a free grok @bot called gospel bot.
i just tell it whatever i'm facing and it shows me where my story already lives in the bible.
kept building in features until it was something i'd actually use daily.
here's what it does:
> walk you thru the life of Jesus
> blessings over yer kids by name
> a sunday family devotion
> fresh insight on any verse
> direct answers to hard questions
> 13 skills (prayer lists + verse memory)
> 17 reading plans (incl. 90 day walk)
the gospels are the anchor, and it never talks down to you.
add it to your @grok <3

NASA just shared an exciting look at SpaceX's progress on Starship HLS during today's Artemis update
For the first time, we got a look at Cabin 1, the Starship lunar lander crew cabin, being built inside Starfactory at Starbase, Texas
This is the hardware SpaceX is developing to carry NASA astronauts to the lunar surface as part of the Artemis program

Starship HLS taking 6, 8, 12, or 22 refueling trips, doesn't really matter. What matters is the capabilities of the vehicle that lands on the moon and how much hardware is expended. Starship HLS has simply unmatched potential, once they master rapid reuse and orbital refueling.

I’m hearing this is a must watch update with big news about both Artemis III and IV.
Ready for an Artemis update?
Tune in Friday, Oct. 23, at 2 p.m. ET (1800 UTC) to hear our latest progress and accelerated plans for Artemis lunar missions.
