Moving data between environments can add cost and complexity to AI infrastructure.
The Futurum Groupโs @brad_shimmin explains that when a third-party engine runs on top of a hyperscaler, organizations can face another layer of margin along with network egress fees as data crosses boundaries. Bringing the workload to where the data already lives offers a different approach, reducing unnecessary movement while keeping the architecture closer to the data it depends on.
