That's something I've always found weird..he dishes out 75k a yr contracts, for an expected 12 days work, for what is no more than admin when his salary is not much more than that..it's a mystery. Perhaps he is the most altruistic person in the history of altruistic people🤣🤣

It's so frustrating that the airport and Teesworks get so much money and focus. When our town centres are struggling and we have empty business units on business parks. Plus, unless you drive and have a car, it's difficult to work at the airport due to poor public transport links

FT reporting multi-billion £ investment in CCS to be announced tomorrow. Will be interesting to see how Houchen and his fans pitch this investment by a LABOUR government.

For information, Susan Scott has represented Fairfield ward since May 2023. So if you live in Fairfield, please contact your local councillor and ask her why she is encouraging far right violence

Basically.... we aren't going to send in the NAO now we are in Govt. Even though we promised the citizens of Teesside we would! We will wait until we get a reply off the people who have created the financial & governance mess to say how they will voluntarily sort it out!

So today is the day we will find out if the new Labour Govt. will do as they promised and ask the NAO to carry out a full investigation into Teesworks when I ask my question this afternoon in @UKHouseofLords @TeesVMonitor @leighsus @JenWilliams_FT .

Worth a listen to this excellent @NorthernAgenda_ podcast here at 6:55 where Houchen is questioned by the forensic @PrivateEyeNews journalist @rbrooks45 over the value for money of his Teesworks deal and does not like the challenge…

Still time to vote!
Remember...
🤥 Ben Houchen - a record of lies, a promise of more!
🚓 Steve Turner - A criminal record may cause problems with the policing bit of the job title, but what about the commissioning crime side of things?
Oh, and don't forget your photo ID

I am at a loss to understand why so much of our media neither seems to bother nor care about the reality of these Freeport scandals in the making. So important that the people of Tees Valley show the rest of the country they get it and kick out @BenHouchen .. maybe then press will wake up
Are @dartmoornpa & @SouthDevonNL concerned that the just publshd Plymouth Freeport MOU (a year old) reveals the defntn of ‘Freeport’ given to councils is incorrect: ‘Freeport’ defines the ENTIRE Freeport boundary. Horrendous implications.

Probably not intentional but certainly not correctly quoted. Why didn't he reference it as 1-9-4-6. He definitely should have said forty and not four.
