I cut every FSD moment from Tesla’s Q3 earnings call into one 10-minute video. If you don’t feel like listening 👇 Elon: FSD is now the #1 driver of Tesla demand 75%+ of North American deliveries signed up for paid FSD at delivery, even though every new car comes with a free month FSD is approved in many European countries, and Elon would be surprised if EU-wide approval takes past Q1 Unsupervised FSD comes to customer cars with V15. The first customer cars could join the robotaxi network around Q2 2027 Tesla is building its own AI maps and navigation (speed limits, parking, routing), which you can talk to and which learns your preferences. It starts rolling out in V15 Ashok on competitors: getting to a cool demo is easy, but the long tail is so hard that “anyone with their sane mind should not attempt to solve this problem” An analyst estimates FSD is approaching $1B in annual recurring revenue, and Tesla’s CFO says that math is right

Tesla said today that they’re rebuilding the entire in-vehicle navigation system from the ground up with AI. It’s going to have voice integration, and will learn your personalized preferences: Ashok: “It’s only right that we shouldn’t be depending on external people’s maps. So we are building our own maps, but not like the same way as traditional maps. We are building an entire new architecture with essentially AI-based mapping and navigation. It’s going to be super awesome. It’s going to be integrated with voice. You can talk to it and ask for different routes. It’s going to learn your personalized preferences, plus also the fleet preferences. The collective intelligence of all the cars are going to flow into making the maps and navigation. You’ll see the start and end of trips already use this technology pretty soon as part of the V15 release. Over the next several months, it’s just going to take over all of the navigation functions, parking, destination handling. We’ll know you better than you know yourself in some regard for the driving tasks. It’ll handle it fully.” Can’t wait for V15. It’s going to include so many new features.

Talarico hates Texas
Early voting starts today in Texas. James Talarico, in his own words: On police: “It's always rich to me that defund the police is considered off limits...” On guns: Assault weapons ban? “Absolutely.” On ICE: “Tear down this secret police force.” On prison: “Prison is violence.” “People don't belong in cages.” Send this to a Texas voter.

Since I posted about using Grok Bot to buy things with my credit card, so many people have been asking whether it’s actually safe What’s actually strange to me is that for decades, people have been handing their credit cards to complete strangers at restaurants. Someone takes your card, walks away with it, swipes it through a machine, processes your payment, and brings it back And most people don’t even think twice about it We live in a digital world where software already handles enormous amounts of financial transactions every single day Tbh these days is actually more safer to let AI/SI do the shopping for you then you doing the shopping for you with AI/SI agents, you can sandbox them, give them limited permissions, and have them ask for your approval before making important decisions…. These days the latest models are really good at understanding the real world and they’re extremely cautious about the things that they do for you From what I’ve personally experienced with Grok Bot, it’s actually extraordinary how cautious it is when handling these tasks If something is expensive or really needs your attention, it simply pauses for a moment and asks you what you want to do. It gives you a few simple options, you choose what you want, and the final decision is still yours where you have to make And all of this happens without you having to go through the entire hassle of shopping yourself I’ve personally watched how carefully Grok Bot handles these things, and I’m really impressed by it Even Elon said that if Grok Bot makes a mistake with your purchase, they’ll make you whole That tells you how much confidence the team has in what they have built…. and it is really amazing. I just run out of limits every single week because I’ve been using it so much The interesting part is Grok Bot actually does a better job shopping than you in many situations Think about how often you open shopping website to buy something, see some random banner or attractive advertisement, and suddenly you’re looking at three other things you never even needed 😂 This happens all the time with online shopping These websites are absolutely filled with advertisements designed to grab your attention and get you to buy more things But Grok Bot can actually research what you need, compare products, find better deals, and save you a lot of money instead of getting you distracted in that entire mess of advertising And the amount of time it saves is actually just ridiculous You don’t have to spend hours browsing different websites, comparing prices, going through endless product listings, filling out forms, and handling every single step of the purchase You just tell your Grok Bot what you want, and it handles so much of the work for you. And whenever something actually needs your attention, it simply asks It gets so much easier, and once you start using these Grok Bot for everyday tasks, you really begin to understand how incredibly useful it really is

Tesla’s Roadster event was a monumental leap of faith, essentially a slap in the face to the entire automotive industry, showcasing their superiority and credibility. It was a resounding success, and the high-risk, high-reward approach will undoubtedly pay dividends for Tesla’s talent recruitment and visibility. The focus isn’t on selling the product; it’s on highlighting the cutting-edge technology that powers the brand.

Let me fix that tweet for you: 1. The people rioting in Paris are criminals who are committing crimes. 2. Destroying hard-working people’s businesses is evil and not a valid form of protest.
From the high schools of France to the streets of Madrid to the universities of Tirana, young people are telling their governments the same thing: in an age of massive wealth inequality, they want a future they can believe in. In France, students and teachers are asking for safe schools, enough teachers and smaller classes. In Spain, for affordable rent and housing. In Albania, for good jobs and an end to corruption. @JDVance says this is what happens when a nation lets in too many immigrants from the global south. He is not just morally wrong, but misreading the moment. The is what happens when nations let wealth and power accumulate in the hands of a few. This is what happens when young people lose hope in their future. In America, let us listen to our young. We need an economic and political transformation. America's Next New Deal.

Deer in the road at 51 mph. FSD handled it. Model X on FSD (Supervised), dark two-lane road at night. A deer bolts across, and the car drops from 51 mph to about 10 in roughly three seconds, Self-Driving the whole way down. Deer trots off. Car untouched. Owner says FSD saved them both. The saves that never make headlines.
Replying to @TeslaSI

Old friends are the best friends. Jensen rocks. The Star Mind computer being co-engineered by SpaceX and Nvidia is far better than almost anyone expects and will reach volume production next year. Working with the incredibly talented Nvidia engineering team is pure joy!
Jensen Huang says he loves working with Elon Musk, and reveals their engineering teams are designing a new type of server to put data centers in space “I’m delighted that I love working with Elon. He’s using our technology for his own AI in training models and such, deploying models, of course." "Grok Bot is super cool. The demand for Grok Bot, the consumption for Grok Bot is really skyrocketing. And then, of course, he rents it." "And so the combination of these three things, he’s fairly unique in doing that. I guess Google does that. That would be yet another example." "And so I think he also has the advantage that he loves the intersection between computing and the physical buildouts. He loves that whole area. Nobody knows more about energy than he does." "One particular new market that we’re going to go explore together is putting data centers out in space. Our two engineering teams are working super closely together to create a new type of server, a new type of architecture that might be super good in space and on Earth.”

Great job by the FW, charging and vehicle test teams to get this into the fleet. We do our best to listen to customers and put safety first - this is just another example. Hopefully you never need any of our safety features, but if you do - we're ready.
