you can be as grown & mature as you want at a young age, but you really cannot rush life. you just do not see things the same as life & age refines you. ageism be damned because it's truly a blessing to live long enough to [hopefully] grow, change your mind/perspective, heal, etc

While I do believe folks deserve to strive to feel good about their physical appearance or aesthetic, I do wish some trans folks would also concentrate on the kind of people they are becoming.

I think relationships give ppl social credibility that single ppl have to establish individually. Being chosen is treated as evidence that you're desirable, stable, capable of commitment, etc. So ppl outsource their sense of adulthood to someone else's willingness to be with them
