Audora is live!
We’re building audiobooks where every character gets their own voice, instead of one narrator reading the entire book.
I’ve always wanted to hear the characters in my favourite stories sound the way I imagined them. So I decided to build it.
Most books never get an audiobook because producing one is expensive. We want to make that possible for any story.
I took a gap year to work on this and became one of the youngest solo founders to get into @ycombinator at 18.
You can now paste any story link or upload a file and turn it into a multi-voice audiobook.
First preview is on us, no account needed :)

how do you know you’re building the right thing?
turns out your users just tell you! Here’s our wall of love :)
love the @GutGutGoose guys, I was feeling low and they called me over, gave me a pep talk and filled my hands with merch hahaha
Congratulations on the launch!
Introducing Palisade (YC26).
Hyper-personalized sales agents for online marketplaces.
The best marketplaces in the real world run on salespeople. Palisade builds the missing sales agent.
Every single visitor gets their own omnipotent agent.

Products like these have the potential to help so many people, it’s astounding how many diseases can be suppressed, managed, or even cured by targeting the gut.
Congratulations on the launch, @heythereitsanis and @betterpooper!
We just revolutionized a trillion dollar industry.
Introducing GutGutGoose: The pill that engineers your microbiome.
The only company in the world that creates a personalised probiotic for you, retests to prove we aren't placebo, and if you're not satisfied, you get every single dollar back.
@Gutgutgoose
this is very true, it’s mythicised when you’re out of the club, but very normal once you’re in it.
Everyone has imposter syndrome the first few weeks but you get down to business real quick.
An anecdote from someone going through YC S26
the thing that continues to shock me is how little fanfare there is inside YC
> very little effort is spent making YC feel glamorous
> nobody cares about titles or credentials
> partners are remarkably humble
> merch is deliberately subtle
> buildings are nondescript
from the outside, YC has this enormous mythology around it
from the inside, it feels aggressively normal
nobody cares that you got into YC, everyone around you also got into YC
they care about what you shipped, what your customers said, and whether your company is growing
super hyped!

hey @probablyrobert, thank you for all the great work on prisma-client-py! I know it wasn't easy, but your work was a blessing for strongly typed codebases.
You're the goat man, don't forget it!
straight scam
1. mics are passive, you can't detect them - no, picking up meta glasses' bt signals doesnt count
2. $1200 USD? you could diy this shit for under $200, might be what I work on actually
3. This is just an ultra/infra-sonic speaker (literal torture method btw)

And all the copies on hard disks all over the world, spinning 7200 RPM, every turn another prayer said.
It’s a Distributed Denial Of Service attack on God.
