We're into day three of Burnham and Healey's welfare merry-go-round of confusion. Perhaps they need to just stop giving interviews for a few days. Chill and let the dust settle. This is only making things worse.
'I don't want to see anyone in their 20s on benefits' Andy Burnham insists he does want to cut the welfare bill, in an interview with @DanielHewittITV Watch our ITV Tonight Special, 'Burnham: Inside The First 100 Days' at 1915 on Tuesday 3rd November, ITV 1, ITVX and STV

BREAKING: LOL! Abdul El-Sayed COINS the perfect nickname for JD Vance and now MAGA supporters are screeching that it's "disrespectful." They can dish it out, but they sure can't take it... "But, you know there's always someone in that group that's thirsty for attention. They keep sending that Ohio State Buckeye here," El-Sayed said at a rally. "What's his name? JV Dance?" Referring to the vice president as JV Dance, as in Junior Varsity Dance, is such a pitch-perfect jab. It goes right for the man's ego and underlines the fact that he really is just a watered-down, weaker, less formidable version of Donald Trump. At the same time, it's perfect payback for the constant Islamophobic fearmongering about El-Sayed's Arabic name. Republicans on social media are incensed about the new nickname because it strikes a nerve. They know that Vance simply doesn't have the juice to carry the torch after Trump is gone. Vance, or Dance if you like, has increasingly tried to mimic his boss's cruelty, racism, and unapologetic demeanor but it just comes across as him trying too hard. Trump's evil flows organically from who he is. Vance is trying to play-act at it and the result is a deeply disingenuous, alienating persona. He wants to be the heir apparent to the MAGA movement but he'll never be ready for primetime. He's an awful retail politician. "They keep sending JV here and asking JV to do the dirty work, but that's the thing about it," added El-Sayed. "JV's got zero charisma. They taught him that at Ohio State. When your school mascot's like a nut, what do you expect? JV Dance!" We hope that Vance continues this feud, because every time he goes after El-Sayed, he ends up worse for wear. El-Sayed is charming, laser-focused on issues that matter, masculine, and traditionally handsome. Vance is a liar, a coward, a pedophile protector, and on top of that, he's aesthetically repulsive. JV Dance indeed. Please โค๏ธ and share if you hope that El-Sayed runs for even higher office one day!

Management have introduced a new notice at the Ticket Office. Apparently, accepting bribes from passengers is considered a breach of railway regulations. I would like to make it absolutely clear that I have NEVER accepted a bribe.

"How have you got any energy if you haven't had breakfast?" I've got about two months of fuel strapped round my middle. I'm just using a bit of it. "I thought fat was hard to get at." It is if you keep posting sugar through the letterbox every three hours. The body never has to go to the tank, so it forgets where the tank is. "So you just don't eat at all?" Not until I'm hungry. About one, two o'clock. Then I eat like it's about to be discontinued. "Don't you get shaky?" No. Shaky is what happens when you've had a bowl of cereal at seven and you're coming down off it by ten. I never went up, so there's nothing to come down from. "What about your metabolism, though?" It's a body, not a boiler. It doesn't go out because you missed the toast. "It just sounds a bit disordered, if I'm honest." You eat six times a day, you've got a biscuit drawer, there are cereal bars in your glovebox, and you panic if the eleven o'clock snack is late. Which one of us sounds like he's on a drip? "My dietician says breakfast is the most important meal of the day." Your dietician's quoting a cereal advert from 1917. I'm quoting a lion. The lion skipped breakfast and ate the dietician.

BREAKING: MIC DROP! Senator Mark Kelly delivers the best takedown of Trump's failed Iran War that we've ever heard โ€” just in time for the midterm elections! This is an absolute slam dunk... "We had a President take this country to war without a strategic goal, without a plan, without a timeline, and without an exit strategy. And now he's stuck. He doesn't know what to do," Kelly said, while campaigning for Senate candidate Troy Jackson in Maine. "I sit on the Armed Services and the Intelligence Committees, both of them. And I will say, from what I know about this, the Iranians weren't any closer to developing a nuclear weapon this year than they were when I first got to the United States Senate in 2020," said Kelly. "And it's this President who, by the way, tore up the deal in 2018 that started them to enrich the uranium at a higher level." "So if you think there was a problem, this President created the problem!" he continued. "But he didn't need to go to war and put Americans in harm's way. We have now 20 deceased service members. Over 800 injured." By now, most discerning people have come to realize that this war was never about nuclear weapons. Trump launched this war because Israel convinced him that he could win a quick, splashy victory and Israel wanted this war because they want to destroy a regional adversary. American interests were never at stake. "And what did the American people get out of this?" asked Kelly. "They got nothing. They got higher gas prices. They got higher food prices." "We've got service members deployed for record numbers of days on the USS Abraham Lincoln. And I understand going on cruise can be hard. It's challenging," he went on. "But really, they had eight service members who tried to commit suicide because of the conditions aboard the ship. And I've got to tell you, the worst thing about that, by far, for me, was to see the Secretary of Defense go straight to camera and say, there's no problem, and we give commanders everything they need. That is not leadership." "Leadership has taken some responsibility for whatever the situation is," added Kelly. "And by the way, how hard would it have been for him to say, hey, I recognize there's a problem. We're going to look into the problem, and we're going to make things better for these service members because they deserve that. It's not hard to do. This Secretary of Defense was incapable of doing that." Kelly is right to lay the blame for this disastrous war as much at Hegseth's feet as Trump's. Our booze-breathed, Fox News-fried "Secretary of War" is more interested in posturing as a tough alpha male than he is in actually leading our troops. These midterm elections are, among other things, a referendum on this war. If you're sick of wasting blood and treasure on endless wars, vote blue! Please โค๏ธ and share if you think that Mark Kelly nailed it!
