EXCLUSIVE: Elon Musk came to Donald Trump with the plan to throttle Ukraine’s use of SpaceX’s Starshield satellite internet network, sources have told the Telegraph.
The tech billionaire made the proposal during the US President’s row with Volodymyr Zelensky over strikes on Russian oil refineries.
‘The reality is that they were both in it,’ a senior source said of Musk’s and Trump’s involvement.
But after a night of carnage in Kyiv caused by the slowdown, Musk was alarmed about the possibility of adverse consumer reaction in Europe.
The SpaceX boss then proceeded to tweet, blaming the US administration, and ultimately, President Trump for authorising the slowdown.
‘He tweeted out that he was innocent and that it was the US administration that did it,’ the source said.

People keep asking me why nothing ever seems to happen. I went back through the record on Farage and Reform UK, using only what has been formally reported, and it is thinner than the noise suggests. That is the point.
Formal findings against Farage himself, that I could find: one. The Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards found he breached the MPs' code 17 times by registering £384,000 of interests late. No sanction. The Commissioner judged it inadvertent and did not refer it to the Committee on Standards. Farage accepted the breaches and apologised.
Everything else is open, or closed with nothing found.
The Commissioner is investigating the £5m gift from Christopher Harborne, opened after a Conservative complaint and reported in May. Farage says it was a personal, unconditional gift and that he has broken no rules.
The Electoral Commission looked at Farage's Clacton election expenses and closed the matter in December 2025 after initial enquiries, saying it found no credible evidence of potential offences.
The Met's Special Enquiry Team has been examining £500,000 of donations to Reform from a company controlled by Richard Tice, under section 61 of the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act. That began in February 2025, after the Electoral Commission referred it, because the Commission cannot investigate that offence itself. Two people have been interviewed under caution. No arrests, no charges. Reform says it follows Commission guidance and Tice says the donor was permissible.
In September, Channel 4's undercover footage led the Met to add new allegations about polling payments to that inquiry. Reform denies wrongdoing. Farage calls it entrapment and says the party has broken no laws.
That is the system. Twenty months in, a donations inquiry has produced no charge, the regulator has to hand the offence to the police, and the one formal finding against the leader carried no penalty.
I am not saying anyone is guilty. An investigation is not a finding, and Reform denies wrongdoing in every open matter. I am saying the problem is the machinery.
A disrepute offence would be the wrong fix, because whoever holds power decides what counts as disrepute. What would work is an objective trigger: repeated, proven breaches of the finance rules, decided by an independent body, with fines that scale to a party's income and real consequences for the officers who sign off the returns.
If the regulator can't investigate the offence, the police take 20 months, and the finding carries no penalty, what is the deterrent? Reform will just keep getting away with despicable behaviour because, quite simply, they can.

We never communicate what we will do next in our operations. Last night, we did not attack any energy facilities on the territory of Russia because President Trump said that there would be an energy ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia. We did not attack, while Russia attacked our gas stations, energy infrastructure, and other facilities.
I think it was Putin’s answer to President Trump. And the message from Russia was very clear – they don't know anything about the energy ceasefire. It's a pity, because they always find reasons not to stop this war. Which is why I think we need more pressure on Russia.

LMFAO -- Trump is holding an event at the White House right now but there's no audio because the press pool isn't there. The Newsmax host notes that this is an example of Trump's attacks on the press "backfiring just a little bit"

Reform UK used imported Turkish water to circumvent attached bottle cap standards.
Interestingly, this brand of water, HAYAT Natural Mineral Water, is not recognised by DEFRA in the UK as a registered source of mineral water.
They are VERY specific that any mineral water from outside of the country has to be registered. This brand IS NOT on their list.
Have Reform UK broken the law in order to not be woke with their water?
As usual, I'm just asking questions. 😉
