Want a vax vs unvax study? Denmark did one tracking 537,303 children. Found MMR vaccine associated with slightly LOWER autism risk with no link to age at vaccination or time since vaccination.

Another huge study: Finland tracked 535,544 vaccinated kids via hospital records. Among 352 autism cases, found no clustering after vaccination. Also checked for brain inflammation & meningitis - no increased risk.

Wait, China makes up almost half of global manufacturing? Wow. Bigger than I would’ve guessed.

🧵Next week, you will see people using something called Benford's Law to try to prove election fraud.
⛔️These people are wrong⛔️
I am a scientist who has published on Benford's Law. Let me tell you what it is and why what they are doing is mathematically incorrect. 1/

In The Australian I look at politics through the demographic lens and explain why the major parties have been sabotaging housing affordability for the last two decades. It just made sense if you are only interested in winning elections. In the long run both major parties run the serious risk of political irrelevance in about 15 to 20 years. If homeownership doesn't become much more affordable soon, the third parties will continue to gain ever more votes from the majors. Young people already vote overwhelmingly for third parties. As Labor or Liberals I would fear to never win them back.

Another reminder that whenever you are asked at what point in human history you wanted to have been born, the right answer is right now.

Reminder: SQLite is 35% faster than the filesystem while also using 20% less disk space

ALT heading: 35% Faster Than The Filesystem SQLite reads and writes small blobs (for example, thumbnail images) 35% faster¹ than the same blobs can be read from or written to individual files on disk using fread() or fwrite(). Furthermore, a single SQLite database holding 10-kilobyte blobs uses about 20% less disk space than storing the blobs in individual files.

It always confuses me when a person with a degree tries to put down someone who has a "lesser" degree, or no degree at all, especially in Cybersecurity.
Speaking as someone with two Cybersecurity degrees...don't do that.

This was a very uncomfortable breach to process for reasons that should be obvious from @josephfcox's article. Let me add some more "colour" based on what I found:
New sensitive breach: "AI girlfriend" site Muah[.]ai had 1.9M email addresses breached last month. Data included AI prompts describing desired images, many sexual in nature and many describing child exploitation. 24% were already in @haveibeenpwned. More: 404media.co/hacked-ai-girlfr…

Your files are dying.
That SSD you keep in the closet, the one from your old system "just in case". Yup, degrading as we speak.
SSDs are *shockingly* bad at power off retention, esp if it's near it's endurance rating.
The JEDEC standard only requires 1 year of unpowered data retention at 30C after max TBW (writes).
