I was getting vested for Mass and almost kissed a stink bug that was hiding on the back of my stole
These are the hazards of priestly life that nobody warns you about

Dear friends, during some recent medical examinations, the doctors found a small, localized nodule in my lung. It was detected at a very early stage and is well-localized. The doctors believe that it is best to intervene, so, following their advice, I have decided to undergo surgery to remove it. The operation is already scheduled to take place in the coming days. I thank you for your spiritual closeness and entrust myself to your prayers.

The death penalty is inadmissible because it is an attack on the inviolability and dignity of the person. The common good can be safeguarded and the requirements of justice can be met without recourse to capital punishment: effective systems of detention have been developed that protect citizens while at the same time do not completely deprive those who are guilty of the possibility of redemption. #NoDeathPenalty
This is exactly the way many AI tools cause harm: they substitute a convenient imitation of human presence, depriving the other of actual attention, dialogue, and relationship.
Love rejoices in being inconvenienced by the beloved.

Support human art!!!
In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.
I’d like to hope this goes without saying, but it would be a phenomenally bad idea to use a chatbot as a spiritual director.
I know someone out there is thinking about it. Don’t do it.
A very honest and encouraging story of God’s merciful love.
(Go to confession, y’all!)

My friends, I have never written with this much passion before. Today, on the beatification of Blessed Fulton Sheen, I come to share good news: I met Love again, He has brought back His lost lamb, and I believe in Love. It began by going back to God's House. Link below.
Guy stops me on his smoke break as I’m walking past:
“Hey, Father… hell or heaven?”
Me: “…Heaven, I hope!”
Guy: “Works for me”
Fulton Sheen was really on to something when he said that we should all be drinking coffee before our morning holy hours
Look, I'm still not the kind of priest to say things like "they're putting demons in the robots," but the chainsaw-wielding black drones with eyeball horns are making it harder to argue my case
anyway, as long as you’re here, consider donating to help our campus ministry students navigate the spiritual and robotic challenges of the future
