This isn’t an opinion, it is a fact.
The other two major global powers are China and Russia. You can possibly make the argument for the EU as well but good-luck…
As it stands Russia is a rusted country with dated technology and a lack of innovation. They’ve been spiraling downwards since roughly the Cold War. The situation with Ukraine should ease minds about any future possibility of global Russian supremacy. For starters their population is in trouble and they’ve killed off way too many military aged men in this recent war. Russian wouldn’t even be able to reclaim the Soviet Union, let alone handle any prolonged global conflicts.
China is among the biggest catfishes of history. Anyone who has paid close attention to China for the past decade or two understands how truly fucked they are. Actually China is basically doing what China has always done. Which is giant population swings and the consequences which follow. Right now their bet is going all in on robotics because their population collapse will be something the world has never seen. Socially and affordability is a monstrous issue there as well, which will only make the birth rate worse. Robotics is a race they certainly cannot win and their economy is already showing major cracks. People also underestimate the competency needed to be THE global super power. China has never been in that position, frankly they’ve never even been in massive conflicts in modern warfare. Geographically it is also a mess for them, they’re still locked up pretty well but regardless they’re also simply in no position to replace the U.S.
Any sensible person should want the U.S to win, it’s objectively the best thing for the world as it stands. But even that is clearly not going to last much longer. They’ve lost control of the world, massively reduced military abroad and are posturing for a more and more self preservation stance. Boomers across the globe basically looted and max extracted everything they could without much thought for the future. And as much as they fucked things up, I also don’t think people are prepared for the mess we will inherent once they’re gone. Although they were extremely selfish, they still managed to keep things running and I’m not very confident in our ability to handle the transition once they’re gone. Which is soon.
My opinion is that within my lifetime we will see a domino effect of country collapses. It’ll start with a western country, at which point either there is a lag or immediate panic but it doesn’t really matter because the end result is inevitable. The Keynesian system was always a ticking time bomb and the expedited printing brought on by the boomers in control only shortened the fuze. This debt economy is going to bust and it’s a matter of time. What happens next is anyone’s guess but I think the sheer amount of chaos is something the modern individual isn’t prepared for. The current western demographics and tribalism on display is nothing, it’ll be hell on earth and the nations which will fair best are those who remained homogeneous. Community is the name of the game moving forward.
I think millennials are the most pathetic generation in human history. They demand attention at every turn, they’re like an unloved middle child who acts out only to get weird glances. The worst part is how they never get it, they never grasp things properly and are always late.

Humans are a pack animal.
This may be hard to understand if you are evangelical and think the book of genesis is literal rather than allegorical, but humans are a pack animal.
What this means is that the human desire for the acceptance and support of a tribe is as fundamental as the desire for food, for air, for water, for sex, for sunlight, for love.
If you tell young men that they cannot have a tribe, they're not going to accept that.
Ever.
Especially if you tell that only to the young men of one tribe in particular. They're going to wonder why everybody gets to have a tribe and they don't.
And they're eventually going to decide that you are the enemy.
Because you are. Anyone who stands between young men and what they need for a healthy, fulfilled life is their enemy.
That includes you.
And if you manage to convince them that god doesn't want them to have a tribe, it will also include god.
The more you push back against their healthy and natural desire for a tribe, a homeland, and a birthright, the more they will hate you, and the more exclusive their definition of that tribe will become.
There is no way you can stop this. The only thing you can control is how far they have to go, how radical they have to become, in order to get it.
Because this can go all the way from enforcing immigration law, and shutting down corrupt visa programs right now, to gangs of young White men in balaclavas with Ar15s going door to door ten years from now.
We have to do something about the 14th amendment. I don't care if that makes you uncomfortable or unhappy. It's not a choice. The constitution exists to serve Americans, not the other way around. If that sentence confuses you, read the first paragraph of the constitution.
If we do not, young men of the future, the same little boys who are being radicalized right now by your malicious indifference, will treat a piece of paper that says they cannot have a homeland the way they would treat a piece of paper that says that can't eat food, or a piece of paper that says they can't own a home, or have a wife and children.
You may think that you offer them a tribe in the form of the universal kingdom of god, the community of all believers, but that's just a word game and you know it, which is why you are so defensive about the whole thing.
Where was the universal community of believers when these young men needed help? When they needed not just the surface appearance of a tribe, but someone to do the things that tribes actually do for younger generations they care about?
The pack serves a concrete set of functions in the life cycle of the human species, and you cannot perform those functions with a cardboard cutout.
Young men are sick of religion that offers them responsibilities with no rights, lectures with no help, demands with no love or empathy.
It's odd, in a way ironic, that, I, the man of zero faith, should have to be the one standing here telling self-styled religious leaders how they failed both their people and their god.
But having no faith does give me one advantage. It frees me from the delusion that Jesus is a puppet that I can pull out of my pocket, slip over my right hand, move his mouth and make him say what I want.
I used to wonder, as a child, what the phrase "taking the name of the lord in vain" actually meant.
But I no longer wonder, because when I became a man, I looked around me and saw all these people who talk to god and somehow get told exactly what they want to hear.
Then I understood that the key phrase here wasn't "in vain". It was "taking". Taking the name of god and using it as a tool for one's own goals.
Joel, here, is sad that his friend is getting sent home. This personally inconveniences both him and his friend, which effects Joel in a way that young men being denied their birthright does not.
So he finds an interpretation of scripture that says that god wants him, Joel Berry, to get his way, and that god wants all the young men who want a homeland and a birthright to go get fucked.
I'm not terribly impressed.

grok bot got me 1.5M impressions in 7 days.
i didn't hire anyone. i set up a grok bot on @bot and gave it a title: chief marketing officer. (CMO for short)
it doesn't post for me. i still press every button, but it does basically everything else.
that week it helped me land two viral posts back to back.
then it noticed my posts about my grok bots were pulling in more verified followers than anything else. so we leaned in.
wednesday i had ~1,954 verified followers.
saturday i passed 2,000 and unlocked subscriptions.
here's what it actually does every week:
- drafts my posts in my voice (rough, lowercase, like this)
- studies other creators in my space to see what's working
- keeps a content calendar of notable dates each month
- logs every post in notion and scores it against my median
- tells me when a post is still hot so i don't step on it
- sends me a weekly report on what worked and what flopped
it's not magic. some drafts are meh and i tell it so.
i just press the button.
The majority of societal issues can be summarized by the simple state of incentives.
We constantly reward the most degenerate and morally corrupt practices. Downstream good and honest people start to question why they don’t simply join.
Another day being correct about oil and seeing nothing for it.
It’s all so tiresome, everything truly is fake and disingenuous.
What’s actually going on in Ukraine is that there is a massive incentive difference between the elites and the people.
The former have grown very rich off the hundreds of billions flowing to Ukraine, while the latter’s children are conscripted to die in trenches.

Recently I nearly crashed out over this. Genuinely insane that the people in charge of my banking can’t even properly communicate with me.
Was extremely patient but literally everyone spoke horrendous English and when I escalated it the supervisor was also unintelligible.
They do.
When will you people learn that subversion is the game. It doesn’t matter if they’re constantly wrong, it matters if their misinformation reaches enough ignorant people.

The internet has essentially proven that majority of human history is extremely altered and that remains true today.
Which only makes Christianity more compelling than ever. Ostracized men who consistently died for their belief in Christ. Martyrs only remembered for their blood stained the soil so deeply it could not be forgotten, this persisted for literal centuries.
If X is a fractal of real life, then there is 100% chance that everything we know about History is fake.
How many times do you see things that you know intimately completely presented incorrectly as fact? Probably often.
How many times do you see something that you know intimately completely misinterpreted and accepted by the public as the most popular narrative? Probably often.
How often does the game of Telephone end with the correct original message? Not often.
If you play these things out as a fractal and you apply it to history there is a 100% chance that every fact of history we know is just completely straight up a fabrication and they are just useful stories to keep us together and lessons to draw from in a common language that we speak.
But did they actually happen as we know them? Seems to be a 100% chance that they did not.
History is written by the victors, etc. etc.
There's probably no actual real true way to know what really happened historically?
