You know what I thought about today?
The Eagles suck this season.
Suddenly, no one cares about the Tush Push anymore.
And I watched four games yesterday. Teams did it in every single one.
It was never about player safety.

My only hope is that those 20-30 fanbases apologize for the years of “Join a Conference” I’ve had to suffer through.
Then after most of them can’t sustain, they owe a second apology. I very much look forward to this shift.
NEW: If independence works for Miami, it would also work for a lot of other schools, via @AndyStaples👀
"If Miami can find a way to financially exceed what it makes in the ACC by going independent, there probably are another 20-30 schools that also could."

Jalen Hurts is the most overly (and undeserving) criticized athlete this city has had in a long time.
And that’s saying a lot.
Tanner McKee and Jalen Hurts were texting last night.
McKee: "We have a really good relationship — he's been an incredible role model, teammate, example, leader. I can't say enough positive things about him. And even in the situation he's in, he's continued to be that for me, which is super beneficial. And says a lot about to how bad he wants to win, the type of person he is, the character he (has)."
He said he's learned "how to lead a room, how to voice your opinions."
Much of what he's learned about pro football has come from Hurts.
"Has had a huge impact on my career," McKee said.
Good stuff from a good dude.
I’ll be pulling for them again in the AFC.
Patrick Mahomes on Jalen Hurts via @TheFan965
“It’s extremely scary—for someone like that, that doesn’t miss football games, doesn’t get injured to have something where a blood clot that gets into the lungs that can be life threatening, it puts it into perspective—-at the end of the day we’re human beings and we have families that we want to be there for, for a long time.”
Towns untouched and moving his mouth like he just finished a round with prime Tyson.
It took a quarter and a half for me to remember just how much I dislike the Knicks.
Initially I wanted ND to beat Miami to find a way into the tournament.
Now I have a secondary reason. I need them to get in for another potential BYU matchup. That fanbase is pretty insufferable as a whole.
Three consecutive weeks they’ve lost a game at the end because of a lack of discipline or execution.
We hear from the HC (still trying to figure out what he does) that the little things and details are a focus. When? Where?
We don’t see it. It’s time. Move on.

We reviewed a spike at the end of the first half, but that one second with the game on the line wasn’t important enough to review.
Good stuff.
I get it. ND played like trash for most of this one.
But I’m done excusing refs. They put themselves in a position to win. Opportunity was taken from them. Clear PI. Not called. :01 left on the clock. Apparently only a thing in the NFL now.
Must win from here out.
Should lose his job for this. Jalen can’t even have a serious medical issue in peace. People wonder why I defend Jalen the way I do.
It’s because of idiots like this one.
@nflnetwork do the right thing. Get this loser off the air.
“if I'm Jalen Hurts − or anybody in Jalen Hurts' camp − I'm saying, 'Well if everybody's hurt, I'm hurt, too.' “To me, it looked like Jalen is kind of getting himself out of the fray so that this lost season..he's pulling himself out so that this doesn't look like it's on me."
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Jalen Hurts' ruled-out status stems from a superficial blood clot in his calf confirmed via team ultrasounds and detailed in the Eagles' official medical timeline with NFL involvement; no evidence supports strategic withdrawal claims.

Mike Thomas retweeted
Imagine being employed by the NFL network, and on air openly suggesting a player who has migrating blood clots and needs to go on blood thinners, is faking it all in order to withdraw from the season.
The lowest of low.
Fire @RealMikeRob, @NFL.

Kirk Herbstreit can’t pick a winner in the game he’s calling on College GameDay due to neutrality and bias
But the day before he calls a game, he’s free to go on ESPN shows to bash a team and call their schedule embarrassing
Not very neutral @KirkHerbstreit @espn
Week 6 with about 40% of the roster on the IR. Sometimes it just isn’t your season. And that’s ok.
The #Eagles will have a regular season game prior to Week 18 with Tanner McKee handing the ball off to Dameon Pierce.
The QB3 in Week 1 to the RB4.
