Copper theft is surging across Canada, with Bell recording nearly 1,000 incidents in the first half of 2026 — a 78% increase compared to 2025. These crimes target critical infrastructure and can disrupt access to 911 and other emergency services. Learn more: bce.ca/news-and-media/newsro…

Toronto Star Shree Paradkar’s profile piece on Dr. Kavita Algu features a lead photo taken by activist-photographer Jay Geerts. Geerts is a fixture within the protest circuit, capturing large, small, and popup demonstrations alike. Algu is a board member of the Movement Media Hub (MMH), which helps place, shape, and influence media coverage of many of the same actions attended by Geerts, whose footage is often relied upon to serve activist narratives. Examining these connections provides a clearer picture of how protest movements are documented, promoted, and presented to the public. #Toronto #ProtestMania
Dr. Kavita Algu is a board member of the Movement Media Hub (MMH), who was recently profiled by Shree Paradkar in the Toronto Star. The article details Algu’s resignation from the palliative care team at Mount Sinai. Algu alleges she was targeted because of her pro-Palestine advocacy. After Algu filed a discrimination complaint against a Jewish colleague who had called her racist online, a workplace investigator concluded that Algu was disruptive, unprofessional, and had a disproportionately negative impact on workplace culture. Algu says she was never provided with specific details about the anonymous complaints referenced in the investigation. Paradkar’s article does not mention Algu's role with MMH, which describes itself as helping activists “harness the power of media.” According to its website, MMH offers services including narrative development, press release writing and distribution, social media campaign planning and content creation, spokesperson training, and more. On its website, MMH claims to have secured over 450 news segments and pieces. In this clip, Algu takes a megaphone from a protester who had been a lead chanter just days earlier during a Boxing Day protest at the Eaton Centre that disrupted the mall's holiday light show. MMH executive director Gur Tsabar stands nearby holding a broken megaphone. Algu then reads a message from a Palestine Action hunger striker outside the British Consulate. Palestine Action is a proscribed terrorist organization in the United Kingdom. 📸 Dec 29, 2025 #Toronto #ProtestMania

TMU hired retired Court of Appeal Justice Mary Lou Benotto last year to conduct a report on antisemitism on campus. The Benotto report has been submitted to TMU but it now appears that it is delaying its release. What is it trying to hide? alcca.ca/post/alcca-calls-on…

Carney’s new antisemitism council is chaired by Marc Miller, the guy who championed C-9 to criminalize Torah readings, and who signed off on Laith Marouf, a man who called for violence against Jews, getting $133K in federal funding. Are they serious?

One of the main lessons of the 2021 Nova Scotia shootings were that RCMP failed to release accurate public warnings, causing additional victims to be unaware a mass shooter was at large. Five years later, and the first RCMP alerts in Tumbler Ridge were to watch out for a "female."

How backwards is Canada, you might ask? So backwards that elementary school children are to be educated on anti-Semitism by a fake Jewish “advocacy” group that platformed and supported fundraising for designated terror organization Samidoun. @ETFOeducators

Horrific footage captured by a security camera in the Iranian capital of Tehran, which shows members of the Basij Force, a paramilitary volunteer militia within the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), along with other plainclothes operatives, brutally attacking a woman with knives and batons during the recent crackdown on anti-regime protests in Iran.

Want to know how broken Canada is? Waleed Khan, 26 of Toronto, who is now charged with terrorism offences, was arrested in August 2025 after trying to kidnap teenage girls at gunpoint. Police found two loaded prohibited firearms: an AR-15 rifle capable of automatic fire and a pistol, both equipped with prohibited high-capacity magazines, along with over 110 rounds of ammunition. He was on probation at the time of arrest for prior violent offences and prohibited from possessing firearms. A judge still released him on bail with an ankle monitor. Today it was revealed he had links to ISIS, they were targeting teenage Jewish girls, and he is being charged with terrorism offences.

Sergeant Chang acknowledges content creator Jagbir Ghankas in a friendly manner amid clashes between protesters and police— only to later find himself surreptitiously photographed inside a restaurant and blasted on Ghankas’ social media as a “pig” allegedly following him home. Ghankas operates within the same Antifa activist network as Gisela McKay, who was also present. She made cryptic social media posts about police “throwing the match” on a “stack of dynamite,” adding, “I guess some people like having railroads.” Taxpayers should be asking: Why is the same relatively small group of protesters repeatedly able to block infrastructure and drain police resources, day after day? Managing demonstrations requires more than crowd control. Police must investigate and address bad actors who deliberately seek to provoke violent confrontations for agitprop and other purposes unrelated to their professed social justice goals. Failing to tackle this problem now risks a broader curtailment of civil liberties for everyone, as seen during the state’s crackdown on the Freedom Convoy. Unless, of course, that is the desired outcome, given how many of these figures benefit, directly and indirectly, from government funding. 📸 Oct 8, 2025 #Toronto #ProtestMania

Canadian tax dollars are funding the Anti-Hate Network’s initiative to divide Canadians by attacking certain portions of our population—and the Liberals call it “journalism.” Minister Guilbeault doesn’t even know where his department’s money is going. I’ve called on him to revoke this funding. The question is: will he take action?
