Quand Jannik était en bonne santé, il était le meilleur joueur du monde, cela ne fait aucun doute. Je serais idiot de prétendre que j’étais aussi bon que lui à ce moment. Mais je pense avoir réalisé la meilleure saison, même si je ne l'ai pas battu. Pendant ma préparation en décembre, je fais environ 5 à 6h d'entraînement physique par jour, contre 1h30 de tennis. C'est précisément pour rester en bonne santé et éviter les blessures. »
