🤷🏿♂️ Jordan vs LeBron vs Kobe:
When evaluating individual greatness, we look at peak statistical seasons to see what a player can do when forced to shoulder the ultimate burden. The most telling metric of a superstar's value is how many wins they can produce by themselves before you surround them with an elite supporting cast or a 'superteam.' By looking at the peak individual seasons of Jordan, Bryant, and James, it is clear that LeBron’s style of play translates to a significantly higher winning floor
In 1986–87, Michael Jordan had his statistically greatest season, averaging a staggering 37.1 points per game. In 2005–06, Kobe Bryant had his, averaging 35.4 points, including his 81-point game. Yet, Jordan’s Bulls finished below .500 at 40–42, and Kobe’s Lakers finished 45–37. This is not a knock on their talent, they were playing at their absolute highest individual limit. However, it proves that extreme, hyper-efficient volume scoring alone cannot elevate a mediocre roster to elite status. They still needed an All-Star framework (like Scottie Pippen or Pau Gasol) to achieve elite team success.
LeBron’s All-Around Dominance Translates to Wins "Contrast that with LeBron James in 2008–09 during his first stint in Cleveland. To completely eliminate any 'superteam' arguments, we look at a roster where his next best players were Mo Williams and Delonte West. LeBron didn't match their 35+ scoring averages, but he put up 28.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 7.2 assists while anchoring an elite defense. Because LeBron impacts every single facet of the game..playmaking, rebounding, and defensive versatilely..his peak individual performance directly engineered a 66–16 record and the #1 seed in the NBA. He raised the floor of a lottery-level roster higher than any other player in history.
You cannot ask Kobe Bryant to play better than he did in 2006, and you cannot ask Michael Jordan to score more than he did in 1987. Those were their absolute peaks, yet their teams hovered around mediocrity.
LeBron James at his individual peak didn't just put up historic numbers, he transformed a mediocre roster into a 66-win powerhouse through pure, all-around utility. If the definition of the 'better player' is the one who most powerfully drives winning on his own, LeBron's peak dominance stands above the rest.

Phoenix, SAC, Denver (Doug Moe & Paul Westhead coached there), & Portland have always seemed to be offense leaning franchises. Since Steve Colter's jheri curl
Not that I can think of. That's crazy.

Bobby Jackson is the best one I can think of. They may have rostered decent defenders at certain points. But did any of them build their actual reputation in Sac? I kinda doubt it.

If you’re an advanced-stats guy, Stephen Curry’s current NBA ranks through 5 games:
No. 1 in PER (33.9)
No. 1 in win shares (1.0)
No. 1 in VORP (0.6)
No. 1 in box plus-minus (14.5)
No. 4 in usage rate (34.0%)
I'm proud to say that I'm finally getting surgery on my finger and I'll be able to return to playing basketball.
The Sacramento Kings need to cut their entire team and keep Acuff, and just sign a bunch of really good defenders even if they can't score and you have a 2001 Philadelphia 76ers all over again.

In 1996, Bay Area Venture capitalist Joe Lacob had a dream of building a championship sports franchise. Joe believed women’s basketball was the next big thing & wanted to show his daughters that women’s sports matter. So he invested in the newly formed American Basketball League & became the owner of the San Jose Lasers, but the league abruptly folded in 1998 & Lacob lost $10million dollars. He said he had no regrets he still believed in women’s basketball. 30 years nearly to the day that the Lasers played their first game, the Valkyries played in game 1 of the WNBA Finals. Now they are champions. A dream deferred until the world was ready. You did it Joe. #wnba #valkyries
You might as well auto-fade the Kings. There is no beneficial spot for them. They should be fined for how bad they are.
When y'all criticize his scoring, remember this. He's our best player on the other side of the ball. That should mean something to you.
The Utah Jazz have continuously been trash every year since Mitchell and Gobert left. Even with high picks, still trash.
No thank you. Basketball isn't just scoring. Zion's skillet is similar to Yax's. Dray brings something completely different and necessary to the table WILLINGLY.
This blockbuster trade idea from B/R sees Zion head to Bay for Draymond Green & Kristaps Porzingis, since the cap maths works and the trade has benefits both teams, Andy Bailey says 👀
“…in this point in their careers, Zion would represent a massive talent upgrade over Draymond. And whatever that swap would cost Golden State defensively, Williamson could offset it on the other end.”
As for the Pelicans: “This deal gets them out of the Zion contract set to pay him $44.9 million next season without taking on any other big money. It also shifts the team toward Queen and Fears and gives it an asset to build around them.”
Thoughts? 🤔
