Bradford wants to fear-monger to get votes. Violent crime in Toronto is consistently falling but he wants to keep people scared. For its size, Toronto is one of the safest cities in the world. Shootings are at a 20 year low. Shootings are down 20% from last year.
I've heard the 35% of people are scared to go out in their hoods at night as this weird thing idiots trot out to support Bradford. This figure has fluctuated but stayed similar for decades, it was the same in 1993. Truth: Some people will always feel scared. Use common sense.
