Tomorrow, Toronto votes.
I am proud to support @oliviachow Chow for Mayor.
I have seen her show up for the most vulnerable in this city firsthand. She does not just talk about it. She does the work.
Vote October 26th. Number 9 on the ballot.
I know that we can count on Olivia to stand up for people, and their human rights and their dignity and wellbeing. It's so important that everyone gets out to vote on Monday October 26th Olivia. Or we could get stuck with a mayor we do not want and cannot afford. Brad Bradford will say anything to get elected. He flip flops. He cant be counted on. We can't trust him. We know who @oliviachow Chow is. So please make sure you go and vote for Olivia. A Mayor we can trust.

Anyone trying to analyze the BC election result as "the first Conservative win in 98 years" can safely be disregarded as not knowing anything about BC politics lol
If Mark Carney is so popular how did Conservatives win in B.C.? They haven’t won in 98 years. And it’s a supermajority at that.
And Conservatives also just won 19 seats in the Quebec election. They haven’t won a seat in that legislature in 91 years.
Liberal supporters have convinced themselves that the ridings of the 5 CPC floor-crossers are now Liberal strongholds.
They have everything to lose during the next election and they are lashing out right now on this platform.

Conservatives have governed BC under the names “Social Credit” and “BC Liberals” for 52 of the last 74 years. Uninformed people should stop portraying this as the first time BC has had a right wing govt in 100 years.

Polls don't matter. What matters is that you get out and vote for whoever you support.

I am not a huge Chow fan but can we be real for a second… she’s been Mayor for barely 3 years, not even a full term. There are full 1 term Mayors in Canada with far less impressive records. If you’re mad about Toronto today it’s probably John Tory’s fault.
No endorsement from the Toronto Star is which telling about how it feels about Mayor Chow and her record.
There’s always an element of the unknown with change. But the incumbent is well known, 40 years in public office, and the Star is saying it’s time for a change

Remember when Ontario kicked Kathleen Wynne to the curb because Doug Ford said she had huge deficits?
Ontario's Fall Economic Statement drops one week from today.
The Finance Minister says deficits will be deeper, but there are red lines the Ford government won't cross to get back in the black.

Why would Bradford want to break-up the Toronto Water Dept, which works well, nobody has raised à concern about and consistently delivers safe water??
Because privatization lobbyists
“It’s high risk”
Experts discuss Bradford’s plan to give up control of Toronto Water Dept, giving Doug Ford the power to privatize it without city approval

Election Day is here. Vote for your candidate(s).
I voted for mine. It only matters if you’re counted.
I’m proud to accept this endorsement from Flavio Volpe, President of the Automotive Parts Manufacturers Association.
Flavio and I have known each other for years. His support reflects the growing confidence of Toronto’s business and industrial sector in our city.
Together we’re working to protect local jobs in these uncertain times.
Don’t trust the polls.
Go vote for the socially conscious option, and the fiscally responsible option.
Go vote for Chow.
Bradford Bradford’s version of fiscal responsibility…

Out of curiosity I checked executive salaries at Toronto Water - a city dept - vs. Toronto Hydro, an arms' length corp. Last year the top 3 Toronto Water execs earned a total of $793,000. Top 3 Toronto Hydro execs earned a total of $2.79M. Cost is $2M/yr more for the corp...

New 30 km/h area speed limit signs will be posted at neighbourhood entry and exit points. Once you enter a signed area, the 30 km/h speed limit applies throughout the local road network until you leave that area.
Slower speeds help reduce the risk of serious collisions and make neighbourhood streets safer.
