This supercut is likely to make Trump VERY upset. The difference between Trump and Obama is on full display, and the contrast is absolutely devastating. Watch until the end...

A wild story: the CEO of a US energy company whose plans were discussed during the Witkoff-Kushner-Putin negotiations resigns. Why? He learned that his company's main investor is a sanctioned Russian company, not the UAE

Huh?
Trump: Mike Collins is one of the most respected people. A lot of people don't know he's a big strong guy. A lot of times I have a friend who is a big strong guy. And he said, 'because I'm big and I'm strong people don't know that I'm really smart. I'm really smart.' I know he's smart, made a lot of money. Mike Collins is a big strong guy. That's what you want as opposed to a tiny person.

October is Women's History Month and, in honour of it, I celebrate Rosemary Brown, OC, OBC, a fellow woman of colour political powerhouse. After immigrating to Canada from Jamaica in 1951 to study at McGill University, she fought hard and made her place despite facing sexism and racism firsthand.
Brown challenged traditional barriers of race and gender in Canadian politics. In 1972, she entered provincial politics with the NDP in Vancouver-Burrard, becoming the first Black woman elected to the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia. She later ran for the leadership of the federal NDP. She pursued her advocacy internationally as CEO of MATCH International and in 1993 was named Chief Commissioner of the Ontario Human Rights Commission. Brown has received 15 honorary doctorates, the Order of British Columbia, the Order of Canada, and the United Nations Human Rights Fellowship. She has paved the way for women of colour in politics; I’m proud of her legacy and of all the women who rise to challenge the status quo.

So let met get that straight: paying a wealth tax is impossible (“billionaires have no liquidity”, “it would be taxing unrealized gains”, “their wealth is virtual”) but paying half a billion to influence elections is possible. Did I understand well?
Elon Musk has cemented his record as the largest individual political donor in modern American history.
Musk poured $446 million of his own money into this year’s midterm elections, mostly aimed at preserving the Republican Party’s control of Congress. wapo.st/4igb5Kq

I cant think of anything that would give more comfort to a working class family struggling to put gas in their cars or trucks, or fishermen unable to pay for diesel.
First, his morality isn't selective. Second, the lazy right-wing water carriers for the right wing in Canada have to decide if they are sucking or blowing because when Trudeau stuck his fingers in....even a bit, we never heard the end of words like woke and virtue signalling
COLUMN: Mark Carney’s selective morality on human rights
If the PM is going to keep gallivanting around the world making trade deals with the world’s worst dictatorships and downplaying their atrocities, could he please stop lecturing Israel about human rights?torontosun.com/opinion/colum…

Yes, the PR effort to squash the real story and craft a mind-boggling attempt to make Melania look good is indeed one of the more extraordinary and pointless things I have read in the past week from the US.
The pope is American.....was that not good enough?
What an extraordinary achievement by First Lady Melania Trump!
After learning during UN high-level week last month of 2,000 civilians trapped in Oleshky, she has now secured a humanitarian ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine to deliver lifesaving aid and evacuate the innocent.
Diplomacy at its very best. Thank you, @FLOTUS!

Tim Regan, the man who allegedly assaulted a senior neighbour of the infamous avian flu ostrich farm, appears to be on the run. He skipped out on his trial and there's a BC-wide warrant out for his arrest.
It'll show in his file if he comes in contact with police anywhere.
