Hey @FanaticsSupport, great job shipping my Winnipeg Jets Heritage Classic jersey without ruining the crest or numbers BUT, Mark Scheifele is an alternate captain…and it’s not like I could make sure it got an A with the fields available (not that I should have to). So now what?
Just finished More Than A Shirt by @josephmdurso. If you’re into collecting shirts it may open your eyes to what you’re wearing is saying. A fascinating read. Thrilled to add a book by a Villan to the #AstonVilla shelf along side some great books about the Villa…
#UTV!
Speaking of Villa books, highly recommend Waking The Giant by @greggevans40 & @mjmarr_star, as well as Rise of the Villans by @GuillemBalague…the latter is especially for those of you fretting about “big clubs” sniffing around Unai. #UTV
24 C, covered porch & a breeze. Just finished @GuillemBalague’s brilliant Rise of the Villans & a perfect time to start this one by @josephmdurso. As a football shirt enthusiast I’m excited for this one! Also highly recommend @mjmarr_star & @greggevans40’s Waking The Giant #UTV
@TheAthleticFC - The Athletic FC Podcast has covered Palace winning the UCL, is previewing the CL final but has completely ignored Villa winning the UEL? I’m used to Villa being overlooked but this seems a massive oversight. Disappointing as a subscriber.
Surely you could find a few folks on your staff, @J_Tanswell to start with, who would have something to contribute to an episode. First world problems but disappointing nonetheless.
I absolutely love this club. It all started for me with relegation, and today, celebrating a European trophy…words do not describe. UP THE FUCKING EUROPEAN VILLA!!! #UTV
To everyone digging out Emery, careful what you wish for. Who would we possibly get as a replacement that’s even close to his level? We have an elite manager who’s chosen #AVFC even with the financial restrictions. Working out how to be competitive was always going to be tricky…
Today was annoying, but if Buendia gets the pen call, it may not have been. Embrace that #AVFC are fighting at the sharp end of things. We have a European final now, and we’re still in the hunt for CL. It’s the dream but even Emery has said that Europe in some form is the goal…
10 plus years ago I decided that #AstonVilla was my club (though I now know I was chosen) as I dove head first into this crazy game. Less than a year later, Villa were relegated. Today, a European final awaits. This club has become an obsession & I wouldn’t change a thing. #UTV!
Just a thought after today with all the chatter around transfers and who’s limited where spending is concerned…#UTV!
“Everyone needs to calm down, it’s one bad result”
Say no more…#UTV!
McGinn going off is why the title chatter needs to be checked for now. We’re thin & need to add this window (2 x MF/1 x F). Priorities:
1. Maintain gap to 5th, secure CL
2. A trophy either Europa League or FA
3. PL Title ONLY if we are still sitting near the top come spring.
#UTV
PLEASEEEE @fuboTVCanada can you play more than one commercial over and over during the break?!?!?. It’s bad enough I have to watch them as it is while paying you a small fortune, the least you can do is mix it up a bit…
