Healthy children start with informed mothers. 🍎
From pregnancy through the early years, maternal nutrition education is the bedrock of lifelong cognitive and physical development. When we equip mothers with practical food literacy, we nourish entire generations from the ground up.

It takes a village to raise a family—and science agrees. Recent research reveals that even generous state programs fail to sustain growing families without strong, personal social safety nets.
Mothers thrive when they are surrounded by trust, shared purpose, and a real community.

Incredible to see life-saving healthcare brought directly to expectant mothers across rural Kenya by @GatesAfrica.
Raising a healthy generation takes a complete village. That means strong prenatal care, paired with long-term maternal support: infant care, mental wellness, family planning, budgeting, small business skills, and modern technology.
When mothers are healthy, supported, and equipped to lead their homes, entire communities thrive.

For women in rural Kenya, getting access to an ultrasound can be difficult, often meaning long distance travel over bumpy roads.
With support from Gates Foundation, partners such as AMPATH and Moi University are bringing portable ultrasound devices to pregnant mothers wherever they are, empowering healthcare workers to provide better care and identify potential complications early.
When you get the right partners together, the impossible can become a reality.
Motherhood is about taking responsibility for the world our children walk into. 🧡
Yesterday, the women of Kimbo gathered in force to reclaim their streets. When mothers lead, entire neighborhoods transform from the ground up.
Sovereignty isn't just financial… It’s pride in your home, your family, and your village.

Today, she runs a thriving beauty salon in Kimbo Matangi, accepts Bitcoin, and mentors local mothers stepping into their own economic independence.

Early and regular prenatal care is essential for the long-term health and wellbeing of both mother and child. Routine screenings provide critical insights that help safeguard maternal and infant health from the earliest stages.

Even if you feel great, some health problems don’t show obvious symptoms. That’s why prenatal tests are so important!
Expect:
📸 Ultrasound – See your baby’s growth!
🩸 Blood & urine tests – Check for infections & anaemia
🔬 Blood pressure & glucose screening – Prevent complications
🤰🏾 Regular baby monitoring – Ensure a safe delivery
Every test is a step toward a healthy pregnancy. Work with your health worker to ensure you get the care you need, when you need it. 💕
Where a woman is born still dictates her baseline for freedom, security, and economic survival.
According to the Women, Peace and Security Index via @VisualCap, regions across Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia remain the most precarious places for women—driven by systemic exclusion, lack of legal protection, and near-zero financial autonomy.
When centralized institutions and local systems fail to protect women, sovereign tools and permissionless economic rails aren’t a luxury—they are a necessity.

The conversation around digital well-being is crucial. Are the platforms you use serving you, or are you serving them?
Most social media is designed to profit from your attention. We believe in a different path.
It's why we teach mothers in our program about Nostr. A social network you control. No central authority, no algorithm manipulating your feed. Just your voice, your community.
Because digital sovereignty and financial sovereignty are two sides of the same coin. Choose tools that empower you.

Ever feel like the algorithm knows you a little too well?
Digital spaces can help you find your community, learn and connect with people who get you. The key is to notice when a platform is working for you and when it's just trying to keep you online.
Like in the offline world, lean towards the people and content that leave you feeling supported rather than drained. Protect your sleep, take real breaks and switch off the notifications when you can.

Watching this YouTube video from the @HRF reminds me why projects like Bitcoin Babies are crucial. With only 13% of the global population enjoying basic rights, financial empowerment is key to breaking free from oppression. #HumanRights #BitcoinBabies
